This is a great spot for skiing and boarding families. Right across the parking lot from Main Lodge gives you easy access to the mountain, lessons, etc and a short walk back for lunch, or trading off child-care duties. The chalets are older buildings, but #1 where we stayed is well taken care of and is the closest to Main... More

My father was a general contractor, and when I was growing up in Mammoth, my dad did contracting work on these chalets. We became friends with the managers, Tom and Anita, and with many of the regular guests. So we visited the chalets a lot! While I've never "stayed" in the chalets, I feel like I've gotten to know a... More

This is the best kept secret in Mammoth! I have been skiing Mammoth for over 35 years, and only started staying in the chalets last season. What a surprise! Secluded chalets in the woods that you can ski in and out of with everything you need at your fingertips. We even get to bring our two labs who love exploring... More

I have stayed in the Chalets several times over the years and wanted to write based on my latest experience in Chalet #7. First the location cannot be more ideal with its position just above chair lift 1 and Discovery Chair so you can ski down to the lifts from the chalets. Each chalet is a little different but the... I've been visiting Mammoth regularly for the past 30 years or so. I've stayed in all sorts of condos and hotels throughout Mammoth Lakes. Just in the past few years, I discovered Mammoth Mountain Chalets. Now, my family and I will not stay anywhere else. With an infant daughter and two small dogs, the Chalets are so convenient. We've stayed... More

We have been coming to Mammoth for years. We have rented units at the village area as well as the Mammoth Mountain inn, All have been good but this place is great. Talk about a true ski in ski out Chalet this is it. We would ski all morning and come back for lunch and ski all afternoon. The views... More

This is now our fourth year staying at #4! Our almost 4 year old granddaughter is now skiing down the slopes and we are preparing our 6 month old granddaughter to keep the tradition of our annual family trip to Mammoth. It is always a pleasure to come knowing we have a lovely place to stay, easy ski in and... More

We have been coming here since 2009 and have never stayed anywhere else. We tried different chalets, from medium to large and have enjoyed every single one of them. Our most recent stay was super bowl weekend, stayed at chalet 7 with 2 other families. We love chalet 7, perfect size, appliance and bathrooms are updated, very clean and right... More

We had the absolute most amazing time at this place this past weekend. It was absolutely perfect for a ski/snowboard weekend with friends. It was my fiance’s 27th birthday so I naturally wanted everything to be perfect, and it really couldn’t have worked out better. The family that manages the cabins (Kelli & Jim) are amazing. They are so friendly... More

Been coming up here for years with friends, and this time made it a family trip. Chalet #6 is cozy and conveniently located to the Adventure Center (a must with kids), mountain bike trails, and Reds Meadow. Beautiful views from the deck made it hard to leave each morning, but they are sure to be savored in the afternoon as... More
