Been coming up here for years with friends, and this time made it a family trip. Chalet #6 is cozy and conveniently located to the Adventure Center (a must with kids), mountain bike trails, and Reds Meadow. Beautiful views from the deck made it hard to leave each morning, but they are sure to be savored in the afternoon as... More

We've been staying at the Chalets for about 5 years now and absolutely love the location. The past two years we've stayed in #19 and shared it with another family, it's roomy enough for everyone and has a nice deck for enjoying the mountain air. Can't wait to go back!

Our family came up during the summer to hike and bike. We have not stayed in Mammoth before and we were not sure if this location was a good pick or not. It turned out to be a perfect stay - right next to the bike park and shuttle to Devil's Postpile and Rainbow Falls. The chalet (#14) was perfect.... More

Thank you Mammoth Chalets for an outstanding week! We stayed in Chalet #16. There were four adults and 4 children. There was plenty of room for us to all have our own space. Some of the adults and older children spent the week biking via the gondola and the younger kids enjoyed activities at the Mammoth Adventure Center (zipline, trampoline... More

This being the second time at Mammoth Mountain Chalet this year, we knew about what to expect. Chalet #9 was a lot like Chalet 23, although definitely more geared out for skiing (mudroom, more back storage). Probably great for ski season..but in summer...these changes take away some of the front deck and eliminates the first floor back decks completely. Regardless,... More

Thank you for your recent stay and review! We think the chalet in reference is actually #10 . Chalet #9 does not have the mud room and also has the rear balcony access like #23 does. Hopefully this will help guide guests to the chalet most suited for their enjoyment. We value your insight and look forward to your next... More

The Chalets are the best place to stay in Mammoth, bar none. To have a free standing A-Frame that your kids can run outside and play while you make dinner, or just sit on the porch and have a glass of wine, is priceless. The chalets are in such great shape, taken care of with lots of love and attention.... More

Second time this season staying at Chalet #1. Had a great visit again and the chalet was ready clean and well equipped with all the kitchen stuff you need as well as lots of fire wood. Made use of the Weber on the deck this time and grilling burgers for lunch between ski runs was really fun when the weather... More

The listing for this location is spot--on, yet still doesn't do it enough justice! The photos perfectly capture the chalet, but can't convey the beauty of the location, and what a peaceful, easy feeling the chalet has. Best part, is you can be totally relaxed yet be skiing in moments with the easy slope access. There was plenty of room... More
