We stayed here for two nights on our way through from Yosemite. The hotel was difficult to find with it being behind a petrol station and no immediately visible signage. Check in was a bit slow and we had to wait while the guy recited a speech to every customer in front of us. To be fair most of this... More

Hotel staff was exceptional! Hearty breakfast before skiing was very good -- pancakes, eggs, cereals, breads. Hot cocoa in lobby nice after a cold day outside! Convenient to walk across street to shopping center and eateries. Stellar Brew coffee shop short walk away.

Overall the place was clean which I find most important. However, the guest service representatives are HORRIBLE. We were there for Presidents Day weekend, paying $300 a night. After we turned in our keys, Lucero approached us while we were eating breakfast and demanded we find our fourth key and bring it to her immediately. She accused us of lying... More

As we do charge $1/room key that is not returned, the front desk agent came to you as a courtesy to let you know that while you believed that you gave all keys back, you were missing one. We apologize that you did not experience her true intention and have showed her how to convey that more clearly. More

Very nice hotel for the price. Helpful and courteous staff. The breakfast offers a selection of hot or cold items. Rooms are spacious and kept very clean. After an exhausting day on the slopes it was nice to relax in the pool/spa. Definitely will be staying here again

This is a typical ski town hotel, clean, friendly staff nothing fancy. Room was clean, a little smaller than expected and we were on the first floor which provides no view just the other building and being across from the pool and conference area

The stay here at the Best Western Plus Mammoth Lake was great as usual. The breakfast included with the room was very good with a wide variety to choose from. This is my 3rd time staying at this site and I have always been very pleased with the entire experience.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, good hot breakfast (real eggs), quick access to Mammoth Mountain, close to best restaurants in the area; unless you are looking for some luxury hotel experience (and cost), this is where you want to stay in Mammoth Lakes on a ski trip.

I was so excited to stay at this property but they were extremely inflexible when we were unable to reach the hotel due to road closures. Not only did they refuse to refund my deposit or offer credit towards a future visit, they charged me the regular rate rather than the discount rate I had booked. I had to call... More

Hello ShamrockGo, We can understand your frustration when things don't go as planned and costs are incurred that you didn't expect. As we mentioned to you the next morning when we returned to work and our agent informed us of your situation, even though Tioga Pass was closed, there was an alternate route (Hwy 88) that was still open. Due... More

Was happy to see the good reviews were warranted at this hotel. We stayed for 5 nights over New Year's Eve. Got a couple calls beforehand to go over our reservation and to answer any questions I may have had - nice touch! The room was nice, we had 2 queens - pet-friendly. This was the only room option available... More

We visited mammoth twice and stayed at three hotels, and this one is the best of all. Very large, spacious rooms, free breakfast, microwave, refrigerator and locker in the room, jacuzzi, pool, self laundry, simply awesome place. We are really satisfied for the price, and its very much in the Centre. I mean if you want to stay in cabin... More
