Dear Alfonso L It is so good to hear that our staff went above and beyond the basics to help you to enjoy the hotel and the surrounding area. It is so great to get inside information when you want to really experience an area but only have limited time. From the natural hot tubs to fishing to hiking to... More

We have stayed here since this place first opened under the Holiday Inn Banner. Over the years you would have expected them to relax. But this hotel keeps getting better and better. Not only have they maintained the hotel well, but they have kept their service at a high level. Vicki and Barbara(I hope I got her name right) are... More

By far the best value for short-term lodging in Mammoth Lakes; great breakfast with real eggs - not an egg like substance - cereal, toast/muffins, pancakes, fruit. (There is nothing more to be said, but I guess I have to say something since there is a 200 character minimum for a review.)

This hotel is nicely maintained, the beds were comfortable, the jacuzzi nice, and a good full breakfast included. No resort Fee! The staff was very nice and helpful. Internet was included. The location was good however the views from the room are not great.

Dear 718gailb, We are glad that you enjoyed our hotel with our complimentary hot buffet breakfast, included internet access and no resort fee. Many guests don't realize that many hotels here might have a lower up front room rate but charge you a $25/night resort fee in order supply you with added amenities such as internet. We feel it is... We had just hiked out from a four day back packing trip. We were tired and dirty. Heading home, we decided to stay the night in Mammoth. Even though we were a drop in, the staff was very accommodating and engaging. They treated us like we'd been coming there for years. Our dirty, disheveled looks only prompted them to ask... More

I stayed during the week at the High Sierra Hotel. Check-in was fast and easy. The desk clerk was very polite and helpful. The room was large and very clean. All accessories were in good working order. I found the room to be quiet and the stay was restful.

Staff was very friendly and helpful---from Front Desk, breakfast crew to maid service. We had our little pug and there were food & water dishes and a doggie bed ready for her in the room. Also, sheets were provided to put atop the bed covers in case your dog sleeps with you (which she does!). Very comfortable bed which is... More

Hi Colleen L Being a dog owners ourselves (we have the Alaskan Malamute that you'll see hanging out by our car while we work) we understand how nice it is to be able to travel with them. I'm glad that you enjoyed one of our four pet friendly rooms! I'm also glad that the owner of the pit bull realized... More

Very clean hotel and friendly staff and excellent breakfast options, with staff on-hand to cook items. Was a bit expensive. Within walking distance to a number of restaurants. Close to a Bus Stop, with 15 minute bus ride to ski slopes and summer main attractions

Hi Vanessa B How great that you paid us a winter visit from the UK! Thank you for staying with us. The next time that you visit the states, come in the summer, rates are generally lower...particularly if you come mid week. Hope to see you again. More

Couples getaway. The pluses: Ten minute drive to the Mammoth Hot Springs (reason for our stay), option of a late check-out if you request it when reserving the room (only ten for entire property so don't hesitate), bar\grill on-site with friendly service staff, good size showers, comfortable bed with plenty of pillows, free parking, a free breakfast included homemade salsa,... We stayed here for two nights on our way through from Yosemite. The hotel was difficult to find with it being behind a petrol station and no immediately visible signage. Check in was a bit slow and we had to wait while the guy recited a speech to every customer in front of us. To be fair most of this... More

Dear TheNephew I'm sorry to hear about your experience from last September. It sounds to me that the "robotic an forced' nature of the agent's talk was perhaps due to the agent being a new employee but I am glad that they were able to provide you with the information needed to understand how things work. It's frustrating coming down... More
