I don't know why some people complained, I spent 4 nights in a 5 day sking trip this winter (jan 2012) and found the hotel very good. It has nice warm rooms, friendly and servicial staff, and the ski gear valet is very useful and confortable. The hotel is away form town but it's in front of the lifts and... More

I booked three nights at the Mammoth Mountain Inn on the basis of a promotional $99 midweek rate. In the last screen before you actually book the room there is a small check box acknowledging a $20 per night "resort fee." I went ahead an booked, thinking I would still be getting a relative bargain. I wish I had gone... More

We were on honeymoon and our travel agency booked this hotel for us. It is on top of the mountain, quite far from the city and in the middle of nowhere so it might be nice in winter as it is in front of the lifts but in summer you really feel far away from everything. But this, alone, would... More

Due to the lack of snow we were able to cut across to Mammoth from Yosemite. We left the Tenaya since Badger was closed to have some fun on the groomers. I made the reservation packed up the car and headed off. Arriving in Mammoth it was very nice to pull up to a guard booth and have reserved parking... More

It's twenty paces from the front door to the gondola. For $120/night, doesn't get much better than that. The rooms are absolutely fine, veering on good - five pillows per bed! - with flatscreens and a DVD player (free DVDs at the front desk. The hot tub has a terrific view of the hill. Their shuttle will take you anywhere... More

Just stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was horrible. Mildew around the window, Ice Machine did not work, Vending machine did not work, TV only worked have the time and when I called the front desk to change rooms they were very rude and not helpful at all. Will not stay here again!

The slopes are right outside the hotel. The rooms in the main building have a loft with 2 additional beds in the loft. There is a king size bed downstairs! Keep in mind that if you do not put the sign to "Restore", your room will not be cleaned. Also, there is an additional $20.00 charge for cleaning your room.... More

My family and I stayed last winter. Good points-it is close to the main lodge lifts, which is great if you have kids in the daycare/skischool, you can just walk them over, and just walk up to the lifts. Pricing was more expensive and smaller rooms than something further away, but I kind of expected that for a ski in/out location.... More

My husband and son just checked in for a 4 day ski trip and were really looking forward to staying at a ski-in ski-out hotel. This hotel states that it is on it's website, but it actually is not. They are truly disappointed. We wont use this hotel again.
