This was part of a Virgin Holidays Tour I had to go to this inn as the other Inn the Alpenhof was fully booked. I had to pay extra for this. Well it needs a good ronovation it looks so tired to over used. The Buffet breakfast what a take on for $18. No choice you get a better choice... more

Our experience staying in the main part of the building/complex was a pleasant one, the room was clean and the nearby restaurant was good offering good food. It is a little rough around the edges and in need of a freshen up and recarpeting but other than that a really pleasant place. more

I was pretty impressed with this hotel. Got the bike and stay package which was incredable value with 4 in our room and all got bike passes. Room was basic but clean and although there are definately parts of the hotel that could do with a refurb it was fine for what we wanted. Pool was small but with 4... more

We were touring around and out of 11 hotels (all modestly priced) this was the worst. The room was very small and there was only a shower, no bath. The food in the restaurant was below par and the waitress was really absent minded - needing reminding to bring several ordered items. Mammoth Mountain is rather an ugly mountain (in... more

We, two adults and a nine years old child, stayed at the Mammoth Mountain Inn on the 19th of July for one night. Nice lobby, nice clean rooms, but not very spacious. We spent a quiet night there without trouble from the other rooms around us. The different amenities a spread around two buildings and makes the orientation a little... more

We arrived late at the hotel and decided to pick up a sandwich and salad from the shop at reception - the food was very poor quality yet we were charged $33 for it in the morning !! The room was very dated decor wise and I did not want to stand on the carpet in bare feet as it... more

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night over the July 4th weekend. I booked 2 months in advance with a great deal using travelzoo.com. The customer service through the phone was terrible, I felt like I was dealing with high-school kids. And so my expectations for the stay at the inn were very very low. In fact I... more

We stayed at Mammoth Mountain Inn in March this year for a family ski trip. It is in a great location, right next to the main ski lifts that will take you to the top of the main runs. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious, clean towels daily and a good supply of tea and coffee. However we did... more

Unless you are staying in the remodeled main hotel this place is a complete dump. We stayed in a 2 bedroom w/ loft. The carpet was dirty, the light fixtures had bugs in them, the fridge was held together with gaffers tape. The entire unit was beyond depressing. I cried when we checked in. The restaurant was a nightmare. The... more

We stayed here as part of our West Coast Tour. Firstly stopping in Vegas to get married, then made our way to Mammouth for the first part of our Honeymoon. On arrival, the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. We were lead to our own private suite with a bottle of Champagne chilling and a big bowl... more
