In late August 2014, 22 cars from our Corvette car club were driven along the lovely scenic highways 120 & 395 from the BayArea to spectacular Mammoth Mountain Resort. We stayed in The Village Lodge for 3 nights. The staff had roped off a large area of the underground parking garage just for our cars. Rob & Joey were friendly... More

We had a two-bedroom apartment which was exceptionally spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It came with a great kitchen and fabulous en-suite with a nice big shower. The location was good for exploring Mammoth & Yosemite and there was a great choice of restaurants on the doorstep. We, however, spent little time at the resort as we were out-and-about... More

The Village Lodge was a great place to hang my family's hats while we were in Mammoth! The decor is perfect...a good blend of mountain rustic and modern. Having the kitchen was great...we heated up left over Thai food which was awesome! Eating here helped us financially as we didn't have to eat every meal in a restaurant. Upon arrival,... More

We stayed over for one night and loved the place. This is high up (8000ft) as is a ski resort in Winter and mountain biking in Summer. Our apartment was very good, overlooked the pool which was lovely and had our own balcony. Service was brilliant, we mailed beforehand as it was my daughter's Birthday. John arranged a birthday cake... More

We stayed two nights after a long drive through Death Valley. I had read on trip advisor that the rooms were noisy around the pool and shopping area so armed with that advice I asked the receptionist for a more quiet location, she did change the room with some jiggling about, and we were so pleased that she did. The... More

We visited The Village Lodge as part of our roadtrip in California. Its primarily season is the skiing season, but it works perfect in the summer time as well. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms are nice and spacey with a tub in each bathroom. If you don't want to go out for dinner... More

We stayed in august, beds were fine, one airco for three rooms was poor. Rooms were outdated but clean. When we checked in we got the keys, but nothing was said about the facilities. It is a do it yourself hotel! No service.

Our friend told us to stay at this hotel because it is centrally located in Mammoth. He was right. The hotel is a nice property and we even got a free upgrade. The room was huge and clean. We liked parking in the garage and everything was walking distance. They had a wine tasting event when we went and it... More

We used this hotel as a stopover between Vegas and Yosemite. First of all, this is not a hotel, but a block of holiday flats owned by different owners, with a series a communal amenities. It is located in a skiing village, with bars, restaurants, shops and ski lift near buy. In the winter, you could put your skis on... More

I just returned from a five day, four night stay at the Village Lodge in Mammoth Lakes. I booked a 2 bedroom condo for myself, my wife and my two kids. The room was a good size - nearly 1000 square feet, with two private bedrooms and two bathrooms. It had a full kitchen that was nicely equipped, and a... More
