This place is great when in Mammoth for skiing. Out your door and right to the lift. The rooms are decorated quite well, full kitchens. And in this village and a few minutes away there are all the stores, coffee shops, a excellent sushi restaurant, pubs, the outstanding Novato Restaurant, and much more. Only thing it needs to work on... More

Rooms are large. This was my second stay. Beautiful property, steps to ski valet, gondola, restaurants, shops, bars and massage! The staff is SUPER nice and accommodating. It's a bit pricey but soooooooo worth it. The village square can be a bit noisy when the bars close, only for about 45 min as people walk back to their rooms, so... More

We arrived early at the hotel and although our room wasn't ready the were very welcoming and let us get organised and parked up, in the underground carpark. We got changed in the fitness room changing rooms and went off skiing for a few hours. By the time we got back to the hotel, my 13yr old daughter who didn't... More

This is my second time staying at one The Villages of Mammoth Lakes. Both times, I stayed in the Grand Sierra in a one bedroom, but not the same unit. I can tell you, we have been coming to Mammoth for over 20 years, and this is our favorite new place to stay (new to us as of this year).... More

Had a fun and relaxing weekend in the Eastern Sierra's. They upgraded our room and were very accommodating about moving us away from the "Village" side of the resort for more quiet. Very clean and kept up.

I have stayed at many places in Mammoth and the Village Lakes is by far my favorite. It has everything you can want, from friendly service (seriously everyone we dealt with was awesome ! we especially liked Christina at the front desk) to underground parking so if the weather is unloading and loading the car is not an issue, to... We stayed one week in June 2013. Very friendly staff, clean hotel, large rooms with full kitchens. Located inside the village, close to restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this hotel in Mammoth - the last visit was during the summer. We chose this hotel because of the easy access to the Village Gondola, and our prior positive experience here. Its nice being in the center of town because there is easy access to restaurants, the Village General Store, and the... More

They say it all about location, and this place has it all. You are in the heart of the village with everything that you need like great restaurants and shops, and the gondolas up to the ski fields are just there. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we had a one bedroom condo and it was very nice and... More

Stayed in a 3-bedroom condo with husband and our four children over Christmas. Our room was directly above The lakahuni Bar. The noise from the bar kept us awake night after night until 2 or 3 am. It wasnt just a low rumble, it was people in the square hooting and hollering as if they were watching a football game.... More
