I chose Morningstar over Hotel Bethlehem because parking and breakfast are included in the price. Plus, the reviews for the breakfast on here were all raves. While we had a lovely stay, I wasn't particularly bowled over. Our first day in Bethlehem was spent in the pouring rain, so when we came to the hotel to check in we were... More

I love this place and these people. It is my go-to place for business trips to the Lehigh Valley. Friendly owners are super attentive without being intrusive. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is always awesome. Reserve well in advance for popular dates, such as the Bach festival.

Excellent location in historic Bethlehem. Close to restaurants and shops yet peaceful and private. The home was beautifully decorated, and perfectly appointed. The hosts were welcoming and personable. In short, we felt at home. Breakfast was the best I ever had.

My wife and I needed a short, and close, getaway. Settling on Bethlehem PA, we booked 2 nights at the Morningstar Inn based on other ratings, and glad we did. The inn is a beautifully restored colonial revival immaculately kept, and with lovely landscaped grounds, including an outdoor pool. Tim and Virginia are wonderful, engaging hosts. And Virginia, a trained... More

Virginia and Tim (and the amazing Inn and staff) made our visit perfect! We enjoyed the Parapet room and its private garden. Breakfasts choices were fabulous, and we loved the cookies and drinks. You can't go wrong by staying here!

There is nothing more that I can say that hasn't already been said. My second time staying here and it was just as great as I remembered it was 4 yours ago. Virginia and Tim are such down-to-earth people, you feel like your staying at friends or families house. The room, the breakfasts, the grounds were all wonderful. They were... More

We've been staying here for Christmas for years now. I can understand one of my fellow raters not wanting to be too favorable...because he wanted to keep it to "ourselves", i.e. the Sayre Faithful. Probably the easiest thing I could say about this place is I wish I could afford to live there. There has never, ever been the merest... More

The beautifully restored, peaceful bed and breakfast in downtown Bethlehem, provided sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of our long drive on the interstate. After a last minute decision, we got the last reservation for the evening and though arriving slightly later than anticipated Tim and Virginia were warm and welcoming. Tim assisted with our bags while Virginia completed our... More

I have been staying at the Inn one or two nights a week for the past couple of months. We are moving to Bethlehem, new house was not quite ready. I work at Lehigh University, short drive away. I truly feel that the Morningstar has become my home away from home. Virginia and Tim are such perfect hosts, helpful and... More

From the minute we arrived, we knew we had picked the perfect spot for our get-a-way weekend. We were amazed at the beautiful architecture of this lovingly restored home. The rooms were large and our room had it's own bathroom. The freshly-prepared breakfast was well above our expectations. The hosts, Tim and Virginia were warm and friendly and made you... More
