My husband and I recently spent our anniversary weekend at the Morningstar Inn. It was the "perfect romantic getaway" that we were looking for. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the entire inn was immaculate. Breakfast was incredibly delicious.......from daily baked muffins and turnovers to stuffed french toast. Virginia and Tim are very welcoming and friendly, and although the inn... more

In July 2008 we spent a wonderful week at the Morningstar Inn in the Moravian section of Bethlehem PA. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The bed and breakfast style inn is exactly as depicted on the web page. I strongly recommend that you view the descriptions and picture on their page. The ground floor has several distinct sitting areas... more

We decided to visit Bethlehem after seeing a documentary about 'The Steel'. Intrigued about the subject but wary of being stuck in a small town B&B, a lot of which, we have found, in America, are an excuse for people to live in out of the way places and charge you for the privilege.:> Not the case with the Morningstar... more

My dear husband booked a night at the Morningstar as a surprise for our anniversary. We had absolutely no complaints. It is a beautiful old mansion that is very well maintained and tastefully decorated. Our room and all common areas were spotless. The bathrooms were all very new and water pressure was great. The innkeepers Tim & Virginia were gracious... more

Went to the Morningstar to get away for a few days...just what was needed to recharge the batteries. Beautiful 9000 sf house, delicious breakfast, tastefully decorated, warm cozy and inviting, close to the downtown for shopping and dining, unobtrusive hosts who make you feel welcome (but Virginia is a Red Sox fan, the only negative but nobody's perfect)...the second morning... more

We stayed at the Morningstar Inn when we visited Bethlehem for the Christmas festivities. What a wonderful inn and super innkeepers. The place is lovely and spotlessly clean. After a long day of shopping and touring, it was so relaxing to sit in front of the fire and have a glass of wine and some fruit and cheese. I especially... more

My girlfriend and I wanted to try the bed & breakfast scene in Bethlehem when we visited for a wedding. And our expectations were surpassed at the Morningstar Inn. We kept saying to ourselves how nice everything was, from the hosts, to the decor, to the location. This beautifully restored bed & breakfast home is located in the heart of... more

While we live in the area and could easily travel to Bucks County, Phili or NYC, we have decided to go back to this Inn because we liked it so much. We stayed in the Parapet Room last winter and had a wonderful and relaxing visit. The common rooms had lovely Christmas decorations, our bed was very comfortable and the... more

We are avid travelers who prefer B&B and small hotels. The Morningstar Inn is a delight. It has been beautifully and lovingly restored. The rooms are a good size, charming decor, comfortable beds and with oversized shower. The breakfast was way above average with many homemade goodies. Complimentary wine and beverages with wonderful coffee is available all day. Our Hosts... more
