Went there for a conference. The atmosphere of this historic hotel is great. Enjoyed the marble stairways and walked up and down them. The old elevators were nice but slow. The rooms were nicely done. The bathrooms were pretty but small but what do you expect from the 1920s. They had a Kernig coffeemaker that with Newman's own coffee caf... more

In town to visit relatives, we decided to stay here, rather than one of the chains on the highway because of an Internet special. The downtown location is convenient to walking around the historic district and visiting the shops lining Main Street. The staff were friendly and efficient, check in was flawless. Free parking in the rear of the hotel... more

The hotel itself was beautiful and the scenery/history surrounding the Hotel is breathtaking. We did not have any time to walk around the area but from past expericene of living near Bethlehem (25 years ago) there was not much to do past a few blocks. The immediate area is still very neat and clean. Service was very good and all... more

A very pleasant surprise in a quaint town. Very clean, comfortable bed/linens. Nicely decorated. Bathroom was small, but very clean with marble, granite & classic silver fixtures. Every staff member we came into to contact with at Hotel Bethlehem was genuinely friendly and helpful. When we booked the 2-night stay over the phone, they graciously honored the website price (which... more

The hotel lived up to all our expectations. Once again we found the "historic hotel" to be charming. The bathroom was small (as expected) but updated. The room was well appointed. The hotel is located in the middle of a quaint downtown area. It is surrounded by nice shops and good restaurants. more

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. It was incredibly expensive for the location, and I feel we got nothing for the price. Our room was behind the elevators and all night long we heard them going up and down, up and down. I barely slept. The bathroom was the most outdated of any I... more

Found this hotel while looking for a place to eat on New Years Eve night ( a TERRIBLE time to find a restaurant!). We ate in the tap room and listened to old school jazz while we sipped cocktails and had a light dinner. The atmosphere was so elegant and relaxing, we decided against driving to one of the highways... more

Stayed here for a wedding that was held at the hotel. I went in with "Big City" attitude and bias....expecting an old worn out hotel in a dying center city. I couldn't have been more wrong. The hotel was excellent, the staff was so friendly and helpful, all while juggling 4 receptions on Saturday and our party's 200 person plus... more

My husband and I were so excited to have booked the "Room With a Boo", the supposed haunted room, #932. We looked forward to his for weeks, even purchased a tape recorder in case ghosts were speaking in the room. We are from CT. We drove all the way down to Bethlehem in the pouring rain. We arrived early, about... more
