How to rate a hotel where the staff is amazing but the hotel isn't? I stay at a variety of Residence Inns in a variety of cities - this one is not a great hotel. The staff could not have more accommodating or nicer - they went over and above to make sure that our stay was flawless. But the... more

My daughter flew into Lehigh Valley with her children for the closing on her home and my husband and I decided to make it a mini family reunion. We had a two bedroom suite (with fireplace) and overall, we had absolutely no complaints - staff was wonderful, breakfast were the best I've seen in a Residence Inn (a lot of... more

My room was very quiet and extremely clean, though a tad smaller than the similar room at the last Residence I stayed at. No problems using their internet connection (plug-in, not wifi). The staff was quite friendly and went out of their way to set up their meeting room to meet my needs - unfortunately, they also double billed me... more

Marriott is usually a good bet, but this place is a mess. I guess because there are so many universities around, you have to sign a "no party in your room" form. So, instead people party outside. The room was dirty and the manager and staff were curt. Marriott is usually a great hotel chain, but stay away from this... more

PROS: Excellent management staff including the general manager and the housekeeping manager. They went out of their way to get me something to eat after the hospitality hours had ended and were gracious and friendly. Location is very close to Rte. 22 and the Lehigh Valley Airport. Supermarkets, restaurants and gas stations all very close. Abundant free parking. CONS: Location... more

My wife and I stayed for one night in a studio. We were greeted warmly by staff throughout our stay and found both our room and the rest of the property to be quite nice. The best part though was after our arrival home. There was a call waiting on our answering machine asking if I left something behind. Turns... more

This property is clean and well maintained. I will use this hotel for future stays in this area. The Residence Inn does a good job preparing breakfast in the morning. I was there on a Saturday night so I did not have the happy hour. There are two restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has a nice exercise room. The... more

We stayed in a studio suite for 2 nights last week. It is an easy to find location right next to Rt. 22. We heard no noise from the highway though. Comfortable bed and sleep sofa, nice large room w/ fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, etc. and everything was quite clean. The outdoor pool was nice, exercise room was small as... more

The only problem I have with this Residence Inn is that they have a mix of Smoking and Non-Smoking rooms on the same floor. Our Non-Smoking room had smoking rooms next door and across the hall. It had a slight "ashtray" odor which I was able to cure with a $1.00 can of non-scented odor-neutralizing airspray that I bought at... more
