This Holiday Inn Express is very welcoming and clean, the front desk isn't as organized as expected. We had made reservations for two nights and were told we only made them for one. “Spring Training with the Pirates!”

We planned a trip to attend the Pirates vs Tampa Bay spring training game and had a hard tIme finding a room as this is Florida and its Spring Break. This is an excellent Holiday Inn Express. We received a suite upgrade as Priority Club members. A large L-shaped room with two TVs, a sofa, small fridge & Micro. Very comfortable and extremely clean. “Under construction and needs customer service remodeling too”

Looking the other way while the construction takes place is easily done. Looking the other way when poor customer service is provided by the management, that is a different story. “good experience despite construction”

This property was in the final stages of being reflagged to a Holiday Inn Express & Suites. Minor inconveniences as final construction was in progress. Spa was lukewarm, Overall a good value - hot breakfast, freshly renovated.

“under construction and spray paint all over my car”

I have a claim against the hotel for paint on my 2011 Black 7 Series BMW. Construction was supposed to be completed at the front entrance at time of our arrival but wasn't. “Where are the towels and pillows?”

We repettedly had to ask for more towels, 2 people in the room and one set of towels. 4 times in 7 days. And the pillows were so small they looked like small accent pillows. the worst I ever saw.

The room was very nice. The fitness center is adequate & the breakfast was good. The hotel was a little hard to find since there are no signs off the main roads. This Wingate was in the process of being converted to a Holiday Inn Express so there was some constrution going on.
