We stayed here for four nights for an event at University Dayton Arena. It's a great location; not far from the airport, located right off the highway with plenty of restaurants and stores located within walking distance. It's about 7 miles from the Arena. It was nice to use the Mobile App to check in, and the keys/room were ready... More

Dear Theokitty, Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay at our Fairfield Inn. Our design is a bit different than some Fairfield Inns. Your remarks on the amenities we have to offer our guest were spot on. Thank you for noting our efforts. Should your travels bring you to Dayton once again, we hope to see... More

For the second night in a row, I picked a Fairfield Inn that was on a noisy highway - actually, two of them: I-75 on one side, and a big thoroughfare packed with franchise restaurants and hotels on the other. This made for a noisy night; trouble getting to sleep, although never bad enough to wake me up. Clean, comfortable... More

Dear Gary, Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay with our Fairfield Inn. As a first Generation design, the lay out is a bit unusual. Although completely renovated in 2014, the design is not something that is easily changed or feasible. Regarding the noise level, your stay coincidence with a two week annual event in Dayton.... I can see that the breakfast and front desk areas have been updated but that's about the extent of it. Seriously how hard is to pay attention to details in the guest rooms? First two floors, the doors to the rooms are exterior doors and the third floor rooms are interior doors. This motel is noisy and tired, very tired.

Dear World Travel, Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay. We certainly appreciate that as a first Generation Fairfield Inn, the design is indeed somewhat different from the new construction. The hotel was completely renovated to Marriott standards with color themes etc mandated by Marriott. as well as paint colors/lighting and furnishings. Typical renovation does not... More

It is right next to a loud, busy highway. The building needs repair and to be repainted on the north side for sure. They really have nice and professional staff who strive to meet the needs of their guests. It is close to Wright State University and the airport. Wifi was simple to log into and fast. Breakfast was substantial... More

Dear James, Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay with us. I apologize that the noise from the highway disturbed your rest. My family stayed at this hotel for one night before catching an early morning shuttle to the Dayton International Airport. The room was a typical mid-grade hotel room. It was clean. The beds were relatively comfortable. The early shuttle (4:30 am) went without a hitch. The shuttle driver was prompt and helpful. The woman working the front desk was friendly... More

Dear Krista, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at our Fairfield Inn. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the service and confusion you experienced during your stay. I struggle with hotels that (a) offer you extra Marriott points when you check in (a preemptive apology?) & (b) have doors that open to the outside. Newer decor in the lobby but it felt out of place. There is a Courtyard across the street if you want a Marriott.

Dear Ms. Maceira, Thank you for commenting on your stay with us. In efforts to ensure Marriott standards are adhered to all hotels are renovated to current color schemes every few years as was ours in 2014, I am sorry if you found it displeasing. Additionally, many hotels offer bonus points during off season through their brands, it is meant... More

This is a great hotel for an overnight stop on your trip south to Disney World. Our room had one king bed, and was comfortable for our family of three. It's very conveniently located off I-75, and is surrounded by other hotels and restaurants. It seemed like a very safe area for families. One highlight of this hotel is the... More

Average hotel with a good location to walk to typical chain restaurants and shops. Ask for a room near to Miller Ln. and away from the freeway as well as the third floor. Rooms on the first two floors near the freeway are extremely noisy!! Rooms are slightly smaller than average hotel rooms but are always clean.

We stayed Saturday night after a 1500 km drive from Orlando. The inn was convenient to the highway and was clean. The pet fee was only $30 and the outside access made it easy with a dog. Breakfast was ok and opened at 4:00 am which allowed for an early start. Right on the highway so it was loud.
