It was the hottest room that I have ever been in. I won't ever stay here again. The rooms need updates as well as the pool area. I was mislead to believe that this was a nice place to conduct business.

Maybe it was worth $32.95, but definitely not the price they charge. No access to rooms from parking garage which had no elevator and no stairs. The pool was empty, the weight room was off limits. Ice machines on two floors but neither one works and elevator doesn't stop on the floor where one was located. Reviews say it's been... More

I had no idea that "do you have air conditioning?" was a question I needed to ask when booking a hotel room. The website listed that the pool and restaurant were closed due to renovation but there was no mention of no AC. After complaining our rate was reduced.

It all started the night before our stay the hotel called at 3:30 am to upgrade our room. Surprise surprise we were sleeping. We get to the hotel and the room was extremely hot. Called to complain and was told to open the window. What hotel do you have to open the windows to cool off in fact most of... More

From when we arrived to when we left it was bad. I cannot take the time to list all the problems, but here are a few. Parking garage is a dump with no elevator, and scary. Elevator did not work well, one staff said, "Not again, be careful". Many things in elevator and hallways were beat up and broken. Room... More

Came for the First Four with my son and his college roommate and booked this hotel for the price and proximity to the UD. The staff was friendly and helpful and accommodating. The room was a good size and clean. I would have liked to have been able to walk around downtown and find a restaurant open since theirs was... More

I booked a Saturday at the Grand without first looking at the ratings. My booking was non canceling so my money was spent whether we stayed or not. We drove up with the understanding that we would go in without luggage and at least look at the room. If there was any sign of dirt or neglect we would simply... More

I brought my family with me to a work conference in Dayton- we chose the Dayton Grand because it was an economical option within walking distance to the conference. The room was ok- nothing spectacular but not problematic in any way. It was clean, quiet and comfortable but it needed an update- the hotel is under renovation though so I... More

We stayed at the Dayton Grand Nov. 11-14, 2013 as we had business in Dayton. The staff at the front desk and housekeeping did an outstanding job and were very friendly and helpful but we were disappointed in a few other areas. The temps were in the single digits while we were there and the room the continental breakfast was... More

Woke up with bites all over my body from this dump of a so-called hotel! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! You will be infected. I have just spent close to 1000 dollars heat-treating my home because of this death trap of a hotel. You just feel nasty walking in to the lobby. It just has that feel here.
