Other reviewers have extolled the virtues of Inn Port and I agree with them completely. I just want to add a few additional observations: 1. You will never meet any innkeepers who are nicer and more accommodating than Leslie and Jeff. 2. The Oregon District itself is worth visiting. It's compact, very walkable and features any number of beautifully restored... More

We shared the upstairs "suite" with another couple that we know. The accommodations were fantastic! The rooms, beds, bathrooms were all very comfortable. The building was originally built in...1877...?? Owners did great work on the alterations. Downstairs was a sitting room complete with a stereo that included a turntable (!) and records! They also have a wine shop/bar open Weds-Sat... More

Although we live locally in the Dayton area, we were searching for accommodations for our December wedding. Not only did we need to secure lodging for our guests travelling in from out of town - but we also were looking for the perfect spot to hold our intimate rehearsal dinner, the perfect spot for our bridal party to primp and... My wife and I stayed in the Champagne Suite. Initially, we had a bit of trouble finding 22 Brown Street but everything was great after that. Upon entering, there is the living room with a dining table for 4, pull out sofa and big, flat screen TV. To the left is the master bedroom with a king size bed and... More

Thank you for the beautiful review. The Champagne Suite is a favorite with the en suite hot tub and the great space for entertaining, as well as the private entrance. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to have you back in the future. More

We stayed in the Champagne Suite, it was spacious, clean and very romantic. On-site parking was nice, because we could walk to all of the restaurants and shops in the Oregon District. Kitchen is stocked with breakfast items, so you don't have to get up or ready to eat at a certain time.A great stay at a very reasonable price... More

I stopped into the Port D'Vino for a single night after seeing it pop up online. I lucked out and they had one room available for the night, the Oporto room. The room layouts and accurate photos are on their website, which also allows you to check availability. The hostess is warm and accommodating, without being intrusive. The ground floor... More

The suite in the back is where my wife and I stayed. The furnishings were nice, but the layout of the suite was a little awkward. The entrance off the parking lot has some awkward steps. Once inside, there is a room with a TV and a couch and a dining table. Yeah, you dine here, but the kitchenette is... More

- The owner is incredibly nice and flexible. My arrival time was not a problem, and she made sure to meet all requests. - Everything was clean, comfortable, and well kept. The hot tub in my suite was lovely, and food was supplied in the refrigerator for breakfast. Shampoo, soap, etc. were also included. - The place was quiet and... More

I travel to Dayton a couple times a year for group events, and when the events are downtown or in the Oregon District I'd been staying at the Crowne Plaza. However, the recent slew of downhill reviews for the Crowne led me to seek out a different place to stay, at least until they finish their renovations. The ideal location... More

My hubby and I (boyfriend at the time) stayed here 2 different times when he was home for a visit (he's in the airforce and stationed elsewhere). Both times we stayed in the Champagne Suite and loved it. No complaints here. Loved the kitchen, selection of food, the hot tub was wonderful and beautifully decorated. Now we are married, (and...
