My husband and I recently stayed at Emma’s Cottage House, formally known as Emma’s Bed and Breakfast (March 2014). We were a little skeptical when we read the reviews that it was no longer deemed a “Bed and Breakfast”. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emma’s a couple years back and were worried that it wouldn’t be what we had... More

I found this by searching "lodging St. Marys, GA" Reviewers raved about breakfast and Southern hospitality. Their website told of change from B&B since family moved into main house. Told of bkfst "on the deck," tho' still showed old reviews and noted Trip Advisor award for 2013. We made reservation on Jan. 6 for 4-day Feb. stay. Room 401 is... More

Stayed here with the boyfriend during spring break. We stayed in room 404 one night and 403 the next because we simply couldn't decide! Each was beautifully decorated and the perfect size for us. We borrowed the bikes one night for a late night bike ride and had a bonfire in the fire pit the next. They even let us... More

My daughter and her fiancé stayed here the night before they were married at the church across the street. After the reception some of the family met them for a patio bonfire at Emma's. The setting was lovely, the staff friendly. Their suite wash bit inaccessible - 3d floor, outside steep staircase- but very nice. There is a common room... More

We stayed for my 50th birthday and Angie made it one of the best...EVER! The king bedroom was spacious, immaculate, gorgeous (so much so we might have to redecorate at home now!) and so comfortable with top notch linens. I could have spent a week relaxing on the picture perfect southern front porch, reading in the parlor, having coffee in... More

We had a great time here. The grounds were beautiful, the hosts were welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable. We were served great breakfast every morning - waffles/fruit, pancakes/fruit, sausage, bacon, ham, eggs, grits, peaches/whipped cream, and english muffins with some awesome orange marmalade. Definitely worth a stay.

On our 10th year anniversary, we stayed at Emma's Bed and Breakfast in St. Mary's, and we highly recommend it. Upon arrival, the Innkeeper's hospitality made us feel welcome and at home. The house was beautifully decorated, and the room was very relaxing after a day at Cumberland Island and the beach. There was also enough room for our 7... More

This is truly a great find & a highlight of our long weekend to Cumberland Island & the GA coast. Within walking distance of the Cumberland ferry, it is a lovely and meticulous home full of antiques and beautifully decorated without feeling stuffy. It has a slight country French look and just feels like home. The linens are of highest... More

Emma's main house and the grounds are very pretty. The room we stayed in was in one of the add-on buildings and on the top floor. Although the room was decorated tastefully, the angled eaves in the room are not tall person friendly! Watch out for your head. Also the TV is tiny and needs to be updated. The owners... More

My husband and I have stayed at Emma's twice. The first time in March 2013 and the second time this month. We were happy with every single thing about it. It is impeccably clean, the breakfast ( Belgian waffles one day with fresh strawberries and real whipped cream; French toast with fresh berries and a side of bacon on the... More
