I wouldn't call this facility a "B&B" by a longshot. The pic on the home page would lead you to think that you are staying in what is in the picture. Not so. You park your car, walk to the front door, and it's labelled "private residence." Hmmmmm, maybe go around the back. When you figure it out, the host... More

I am so sorry that you were disappointed in your stay at Emma's Cottage House. We take our reviews very serious. Luckily, most of our guest leave very happy but, unfortunately a small few do not. We read all comments and do our best to accommodate our visitors. We want you to be happy! My first thought when reading your... More

I was visiting Cumberland Island with my daughter Emma for her birthday, so naturally we stayed at Emma's Cottage House! We were greeted by Angie and she gave us a tour of this lovely property, full of beautiful flowers and bird feeders. It was clean, very well maintained and had tons of character. All the rooms look wonderful. We loved... More

Great little B&B. Stopped in on our way back to FL for a night. Stayed in room 404 which was adorable! Light continental breakfast available in common area. Very cute outside deck area with fire pit and corn hole. Walking distance (about .5 miles) to downtown St. Mary's and bikes available to ride into town! We will plan on staying... More

I Visit St Marys several times per year, and this is THE MOST Perfect stay... at Emma's! :-D. The hospitality of Angie & Jimmie far surpass one's expectations! The rooms are always beautifully decorated & very clean. Bicycles available allow for thorough perusing of coastal St. Marys, and well-kept grounds enable quiet & peaceful contemplation. In the evenings gather on... More

This was our first time visiting St. Mary’s and/or staying at Emma’s Cottage House. We are ultimately headed to island camp at Cumberland Island. After being in a car for more than 6 hours, Angie knew we needed some much needed outdoor activity wherein she immediately recommended a bike ride to explore both the coastal town and lunch options. We... More

I had wanted to go to Cumberland Island for an early birthday celebration and hopped on Google to find a bed and breakfast. Emma's was the better price, and I couldn't imagine a better experience. Jimmy is very helpful and makes you feel at home. We stayed in 403 and everything was great. They have a community room with a... More

We were greeted by Angie, the proprietor upon our arrival. Our room was ready and beautifully decorated . Since there were no other guests on this evening, we were offered an upgrade. In room Keurigs and a variety of breakfast choices made for a very nice stay. It was just too cold to enjoy the town and the lovely outdoor... More

We spontaneously decided to get away for the weekend and visit St. Mary's. We found Emma's and made a last minute reservation. The room was comfortable and clean. The large king was perfect for sleeping. Emma's is located on some beautiful property only a few minutes from downtown. They even provide bikes if you prefer not to drive. The breakfast... More

We called at the last minute and suprisingly got the nicest room. We weren't sure what to expect when comparing prices with other B&B and Emma's was the cheapest but we were very pleased with the our room and the owners, Angie & Jimmy couldn't be nicer. We didn't mind that breakfast weren't the typical B&B style as there were... More

Saint Mary's and Cumberland island are wonderful places to visit. If you like quaint historical places, you will love them. Emma's is the place to stay in saint Mary's. The rooms are clean and spacious, the owners are friendly and make you feel like family, and you are only a very short walk to downtown saint Mary's and the beautiful... More
