Jil's B&B is a charming beautiful victorian manor. Not only is the house clean and beautifully maintained, but Jill also takes the time to walk her guests through the manor explaining various aspects of the architecture, decoration and other fun facts about the house. Jill is also more than happy to give suggestions on where to hike, where to eat,... More

My cousin and I were planning to visit our cousin and his wife Judy in Harrogate, TN. Per Judy there are no hotels in Harrogate, but Middlesboro is close by. She checked with some fellow named Joe, who recommended The Cumberland Manor B&B. Judy drove out prior to our arrival to check it out and spoke to Jill, the innkeeper.... More

This beautiful grand manor atop a vista overlooking the Middlesboro area. The rooms are spacious and offer in-suite baths. There is lots of pictures, books and information throughout the B&B. The owner is very helpful and hospitable. Breakfast included fresh fruit, egg frittata and warm muffins. Coffee was available early! I will definitely return the next time I'm in the... More

I recently spent almost a month here for college related business in the area. It was a fantastic stay! I am fortunate to have stayed here versus a motel for this length of time. Everything was geared to meet my needs; the hospitality and kindnesses of the hostess were second to none, as were the views and the Manor itself.... More

Jill, the owner, is a transplanted N.J. gal with Kentucky hospitality, and a passion for her beautiful home, garden and Kentucky history. We stayed in the Lincoln room, which was large and comfortable, combining historic charm with modern conveniences. The view and gardens are lovely, and she served us the best breakfast! I ate one too many blueberry muffins (worth... More

The house is a lovingly restored mansion built when mansions were interesting. But the best part of your stay will be the hostess..... a woman who is that in every sense of the word. She will make you feel at home, she will cook up a great breakfast, and best of all she will be generous in sharing her extensive... More

My wife and I stayed here while visiting relatives in Middlesboro. Our first night we stayed in the Kennedy room, which was very nice. It was up on the 3rd floor, in what was probably servants quarters originally. Jill made us very welcome, offering a gourmet breakfast the next morning, and extensive suggestions for things to do in the area.... More

Cumberland Manor sits at the top of a geographical phenomenon, a "shock tower" from the meteorite strike of 300 million years ago that created a rare circular valley. It may not be at the "peak" geographically, but figuratively it's tops: beautiful Victorian house, great breakfast, and a congenial host who is very knowledgeable about the many attractions of this historical... we recently stayed at the Cumberland Manor B & B while in the area for a funeral. The accommodations were very nice and the Manor offered the quietness we were seeking. Thanks to Jill the much needed morning coffee was waiting for us, the breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

We had the opportunity to stay here on our recent trip to Kentucky. The hosts couldn’t’ve been nicer … the room and breakfast were wonderful. They were very helpful and provided much information about the area and, particularly, what we shouldn’t miss in Cumberland Gap Nat’l Park. You can’t go wrong by staying at Cumberland Manor on the top of... More
