Never again will I make the mistake of staying here, not even as a last resort. I would sleep in my car beside the road before i stayed here again. Bathroom tiles and sink were cracked, caulking around the tub was mildewed, shower door track was filthy and the entire place smelled like dirty socks. To top it all off,... More

We stayed here 1 night and that was 1 night to many. motel was outdated, very dirty and smelled. During the night someone tried to break into our car, getting away with nothing. The next day we received a call from our bank, there had been 9 charges to our credit card during the night, several nationwide and a couple... More

On a family trip to Cumberland Gap area, this motel was a decent place to spend the night on a spontanious holiday road trip where everything else was already booked up. The rooms were clean, friendly service, and it was a good price.

Would I stay here again? Only if I had to. I am a fan of locally owned budget motels. I stay in them all the time. I only sleep in the room. I do not see spending a fortune to sleep. This place had more negatives than positives. I will start with the positives: clean, fairly new carpet, comfortable beds,... More

Older motel, but very clean! Rooms were quiet, with huge windows for viewing tje Appalachian Mountains.. food very close by! Rooms could use a little updating, but were quire nice for the reasonable price, everything else in town was WAY overpriced! Great place! Will stay again!!

The rooms are cute and obviously designed in the past! But the staff was wonderful, there are limited outlets in room 25 where we stayed. And therefore every morning the manager makes coffee for those that want it. It's well placed no too far into town. Some times the clientele isn't the most savory, but the manager keeps a tidy... We were geocaching in Northern Tennessee and did not make it as far as our plans indicated so we headed up and our first stop told us that the chains were all full for Labor Day Weekend, This was one of the choices given us and we were very happy with the choice. Rooms clean with ref and microwave, was... More

The exterior of the office and the parking lot were a little stark (hint to owner--put in a little landscaping), but my room was clean and well-maintained. It's not fancy, but it's probably half the price or less than the Holiday Inn just down the road. For some reason the owner/manager had some difficulty giving me directions to the motel... More

Service was good and shower was great. I forgot my toiletries kit in the bathroom and asked the manager to send it to me. I was offering to pay more that the cost of mailing for the manager's trouble but he only charged his costs. My kit arrived at my home intact -- nice to do business with a kind,... More

This is a little more expensive than a motel 6 but it has a microwave and refrigerator in the room. I didn't see any ice but there was morning coffee in the office like Motel 6.It was clean, quiet and did not smell of smoke. It was very adequate and a fairly good value but I would probably check the... More
