We stayed for one night at the Crater Lake Lodge. The room was on the smaller side but we had a great view on the lake, ensuite bathroom and complimentary wifi (not very fast). The lodge is nice and the food in the restaurant was good - you pay for the location but it's fantastic to see the sunset on... More

As with most hotels in national parks, the Crater Lake Lodge is very busy and is staffed seasonally by young people who do a very good job for the most part. It is booked many months in advance (we booked last September for a July visit and could not get a room with a view). The front desk and bell... More

We recently stayed at the Crater Lake Lodge and were overwhelmed by the view of the lake. The lodge has a rustic charm to it, including the rooms. There is no TV, phone, and the WiFi is available but slow. The restaurant is hard to get into for dinner. Make reservations before you arrive unless you want to eat late.... More

Definitely get a room facing the lake, the sunset and sunrise are beautiful to watch over the lake. The food at the lodge is very good and reasonable, don't forget to go outside on the back patio and watch the stars at night, you can see unlimited amounts of stars from outside. This lodge has a very relaxing atmosphere on... More

Great lodge right on the craters edge! Beautiful views of the lake from the back "porch" perfect for watching sunrise/sunset! The hotel is very old school, no tv, but who wants to waste their vaca in a gorgeous location like crater lake, watching television anyhow!? While we were there we had some storms roll through and the power actually went... More

2015 is the 100th anniversary of the Lodge at Crater Lake. If you want a reservation here you must plan months in advance. I made my reservation for July, 2015 in November, 2014 and availability was limited at that time. It's a spectacular old lodge with restaurant and fireplace. Well worth the effort!

It is always a pleasure to stay in these historical lodges. The food was decent and the service fine until the gas went out for two days and we were left with only cold food options. Not so great when you are paying full price for more. Wifi and cell are limited. More info in blog: http://americajayne.blogspot.com

The Lodge is celebrating its 100th year! Be sure to visit the history center in the lodge and view the old photos of the grounds and building. We had a nice lunch in the restaurant and can't say enough good about the glass of wine on the veranda, rocking in a chair and taking in the beautiful view of Crater... More

Let's face it, if you want to stay in the park this is your only choice. And beautiful and historic it is! Definitely worth a visit but you can expect some frustrations. Unfortunately while we were there there the lodge lost gas supply. Although we asked, we never were told why. But the kitchen was only able to prepare a... More

This national park lodge is just what we hoped it would be! It sits on the edge of one of the most picturesque spots in The United States. It is in a very remote location, as would be expected. Our room accommodated our party of 3 just fine; it was much roomier than some of the rooms we have stayed... More
