Staying at Crater Lake Lodge was a long-time goal. The dream was finally realized in July, 2015. I could not have been more pleased. The location is spectacular with the Lodge perched right on the rim of the Crater. The views from the Lodge and from the many vantage points within a few steps of the door are truly stunning.... The one thing I must advise you to do is book EARLY! I booked in January for a room in July and almost didn't get one. I also was not able to request a lake view as they are taken BUT all you need to do is step outside the door and you can have a lake view. This historic... More

Crater Lake is not the most affordable family destination and the lodge is one reason. I called early and asked about the loft rooms and was able to get one. These rooms are on the third floor and offer one queen bed downstairs with a steep stairway up to a small loft bedroom and bathroom on the fourth floor with... More

The view is incredible, the great hall great, nice fireplaces. The veranda has a fantastic view of crater lake, have morning coffee or after hike drink and take in view. Try too get a lake view, reserve early. Rooms are small and dated but clean, no frills. Food in dining room is good to very good and not outrageous for... More

I was looking for something special to do for my birthday, thought of Crater Lake and remembered they have a lodge. Got on the computer, the hotel is booked...however, I checked each individual day and found an opening on the next Wednesday night, so off we went and had the best mini vacation yet. The hotel was much more than... More

We stayed for one night at the Crater Lake Lodge. The room was on the smaller side but we had a great view on the lake, ensuite bathroom and complimentary wifi (not very fast). The lodge is nice and the food in the restaurant was good - you pay for the location but it's fantastic to see the sunset on... More

As with most hotels in national parks, the Crater Lake Lodge is very busy and is staffed seasonally by young people who do a very good job for the most part. It is booked many months in advance (we booked last September for a July visit and could not get a room with a view). The front desk and bell... More

We recently stayed at the Crater Lake Lodge and were overwhelmed by the view of the lake. The lodge has a rustic charm to it, including the rooms. There is no TV, phone, and the WiFi is available but slow. The restaurant is hard to get into for dinner. Make reservations before you arrive unless you want to eat late.... More

Definitely get a room facing the lake, the sunset and sunrise are beautiful to watch over the lake. The food at the lodge is very good and reasonable, don't forget to go outside on the back patio and watch the stars at night, you can see unlimited amounts of stars from outside. This lodge has a very relaxing atmosphere on... More

Great lodge right on the craters edge! Beautiful views of the lake from the back "porch" perfect for watching sunrise/sunset! The hotel is very old school, no tv, but who wants to waste their vaca in a gorgeous location like crater lake, watching television anyhow!? While we were there we had some storms roll through and the power actually went... More
