I made reservations for my husband and me as well as for a room for our daughter and her family of 4. My room with one queen bed was very spacious and had shower and tub. Her room with two queen bed seems very small. The cost of the room was about $200 each. The only complain we have is... More

Great views! Great old lodge! Great Amenities! Great Food! Great staff!! Most excellent two days. I recommend a visit to this great piece of history. We stayed two days which was perfect to enjoy the lodge at night and then do the rim drive the next day. Finished with dinner in the lodge dining room and dessert in the great... More

Rooms are pricey, but if you're going to do it (and people come from all over the world to see Crater Lake, with good reason), spring for a lakeside room (the view, especially at sunrise, is gorgeous) and stay for two nights. Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 11am. A two-night stay allows you to really enjoy... More

Seeing Crater Lake has been a bucket list item forever! Lucky to get 2 nights together during the summer. The lodge itself is gorgeous, rooms a little less so. Pretty dated and sparse. Lacked amenities that come with most hotel rooms like a coffee maker, mini fridge, a way to contact the front desk, deadbolt lock on the door. No... More

Staying in a National Park is always nice; saving time driving in and out of the park is much appreciated. It was not one of my favorite lodges architecturally, but it was a very nice stay and I would stay again if I have the chance. We had a double queen room - non-lake-view side. If you are concerned about... More

The location of the hotel, right on the lip of Crater Lake is stunning and worth the price of the hotel, but for what you pay the rooms are dated and have seen better days. The bed was comfy, the bathroom practical and the room clean.

The Lodge is beautifully located on the rim of the crater and has lovely views. I was lucky to get a room on a short notice - hence very delighted - although the room said valley view - we really had the view of the parking lot. Try to get lakeside view rooms if possible. We also did not have... More

We wanted to stay in some of the old national park lodges on this road trip, Crater Lake was a nice first night. The main room is a nice place to relax. Our room was nice, the beds were comfortable. We had a very nice view of the lake and Wizard island from our room. Dining options are limited without... More

Crater lake lodge is a Quintessential National park lodge. Crater lake lodge is similar in design to all the National park lodges of the Western USA National Parks, Glacier NP, Ole Faithful lodge, Mt Rainer lodge, but the Crater lake lodge is smaller. Even though this lodge is smaller, the rooms are nice, the location of the lodge exactly on... More

If you get the right room (with a lake view), this lodge is amazing...for it is poised just a few yards in from the edge of the caldera. Otherwise, there are some rooms with a view of the parking lot and nearby woods...not all that impressive, especially if you pay over $200 per night. Our room was a corner parlor... More
