Staying in a National Park is always nice; saving time driving in and out of the park is much appreciated. It was not one of my favorite lodges architecturally, but it was a very nice stay and I would stay again if I have the chance. We had a double queen room - non-lake-view side. If you are concerned about... More

The location of the hotel, right on the lip of Crater Lake is stunning and worth the price of the hotel, but for what you pay the rooms are dated and have seen better days. The bed was comfy, the bathroom practical and the room clean.

The Lodge is beautifully located on the rim of the crater and has lovely views. I was lucky to get a room on a short notice - hence very delighted - although the room said valley view - we really had the view of the parking lot. Try to get lakeside view rooms if possible. We also did not have... More

We wanted to stay in some of the old national park lodges on this road trip, Crater Lake was a nice first night. The main room is a nice place to relax. Our room was nice, the beds were comfortable. We had a very nice view of the lake and Wizard island from our room. Dining options are limited without... More

Crater lake lodge is a Quintessential National park lodge. Crater lake lodge is similar in design to all the National park lodges of the Western USA National Parks, Glacier NP, Ole Faithful lodge, Mt Rainer lodge, but the Crater lake lodge is smaller. Even though this lodge is smaller, the rooms are nice, the location of the lodge exactly on... More

If you get the right room (with a lake view), this lodge is amazing...for it is poised just a few yards in from the edge of the caldera. Otherwise, there are some rooms with a view of the parking lot and nearby woods...not all that impressive, especially if you pay over $200 per night. Our room was a corner parlor... More

Absolute rudest person I have ever met working the front desk. Arrived at 330 & told our room wasn't ready. No apology. Told us to wait a half hour & come back. We waited an hour. Came back. Still not ready. Still no apology. Long story short after waiting over 4 hours (and checking with the front desk multiple times,... More

I booked a year ago, of course. We had a wonderful room, corner, top floor, three windows with views ..... tub only, which I wasn't sure of, but tub is next to the window so I enjoyed a sunrise with view of the lake bath! Now, that's a treat. Comfortable bed. Staff very nice and helpful. Dinner at lodge one... More

We actually only went here for a day trip because we couldn't get a room (and we checked like 5 months in advanced!) But it really is the best place to enjoy Crater Lake! We also had breakfast here and the frittata was amazing. I love that they have exclusive tours and other fun activities and programs for the guests... More

Beautiful, rustic-looking lodge with great views. Rooms were clean and service was good. From our experience, this was the best lodge that is within a U.S. National Park because of its unique location and picturesque views. I would strongly recommend planning your stay early. Due to the hotel popularity, our reservations for August were made the September prior to our... More
