The small town of Fruita doesn't have a lot to offer apart from the adjacent Dinosaur Museum ( don't expect too much ) and obviously the Colorado National Monument. The hotel was pretty clean and room was nice though we could smell of smoke when we first entered the room which gradually died away. The breakfast in the morning was... more

My husband, daughter and I chose the Fruita, CO hotel at first because everything in Moab, UT was booked. And boy, are we glad we ended up in Fruita! The room was clean and quiet. The free breakfast was adequate (although I always bring and brew my own coffee) and the staff was friendly and helpful. The indoor pool is... more

We asked for a quiet room and we were accommodated with a third floor room (top) at the end of the hall. The hotel is in a quiet location next to the Dinosaur museum, a large gas station and a MacDonald's so no 5 stars for stunning views. Room was large, clean and nicely appointed. The whole hotel gleamed. Front... more

Exactly as I expected. Free rollaway bed. Free breakfast - make your own waffle, cereal, toast. I'd come back. more

Stayed here recently with my wife and two small children. The room was plenty big for the four of us. Bed was comfortable. La Quinta provided a roll-away for our 2 1/2 year old, free of charge. Motel was reasonably quiet despite many children staying there. Didn't use the indoor pool. Breakfast was very mediocre but pretty much what you'd... more

As hotels go was acceptable stay. Front desk staff looked after the in and out details but didn't offer much more. Would stay here again. more

First time at this location, orginally at check in clerk wanted to put us in a room directly in the middle of the third floor hallway opposite the elevator. No way! especially on friday nite. even at the end of the hallway kids screaming, manager was called and refused to quiet them down. In the morning, breakfast was completely wiped... more

Decided to stay at this hotel after reading the reviews here at Trip Advisor. Female desk manager was friendly and very helpful. I booked a suite room and had planned a quiet and restful night after a full day of traveling. Room was clean and quite large, with fridge, large desk, and sofa. Price didn't seem too out of line... more

There have been many improvements made at this hotel. The doors have been ajusted to shut more quietly, new linens and towels. Many more upgrades are in the works now.

We have nothing but praise for this property. We had a two night stay here with 2 small children and had a wonderful experience. The staff checked us in early, honoring our special requests with a smile. The room was in perfect working order with everything spotless. Noise was not an issue either inside or outside the hotel, our room... more
