The Marl Inn has the cutest rooms...with private entrances from the Innkeepers home, but you are cozily welcomed inside for the breakfast and the patios, breezeway and yard are delightful. The walk to the York River front area is very short and takes you through more historic paths you might not see from the main drag. Apostolos (Paul) and Amy... More

My husband and I have been staying at the Marl Inn for the past three weeks while being displaced because of water damage at our nearby home -- what a silver lining to our disaster. Paul and Amy have been so welcoming to us! We have stayed both in the Gardenview and the Nelson -- and have loved them both.... More

The B&B is centrally located in historic Yorktown, within walking distance of the National Park, beach, waterfront district and local businesses. We stayed in the garden view suite, which is gorgeous, quiet and very spacious.

We stayed at the Marl Inn while attending a wedding at another B&B in Yorktown. The Marl Inn was a lovely getaway and a breath of fresh air! Our party numbered 6 adults and 2 small children. The Marl Inn was within walking distance to all of the historic sites and the wedding festivities in Yorktown. The Innkeepers, Paul and... More

I was lucky enough to get a room at the last minute for Yorktown Day on October 19th. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a queen bed and a full bed in the room along with a private bath and small refrigerator. The location is tranquil yet close to all the sites to enjoy in Yorktown. The innkeepers,... More

The Marl-Inn Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of historic Yorktown, in walking distance to the historic sites and the waterfront. yet off on a very small, quiet road. You can watch the deer as they walk through the open field next door, visit the oldest Custom House in America just steps away and the very first monument,... More

We stayed in a spacious, spotlessly clean suite for 4 nights. We self catered twice but chose to book breakfast.Paul & Amy are wonderful hosts & we enjoyed our chats over a lovely home cooked breakfast. They have not been at the Inn very long but are doing an excellent job. Their property is in a beautiful location, well placed... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in October , in order to visit the "historic triangle". The initial plan had been to self-cater but after 9 days of doing this around Virginia, we were ready for someone else to make the breakfasts and wanted to share conversations with the local people , so we chose the breakfast option. What a... More

We arrived the day the new owners, Paul and Amy, took possession. They were great as new B&B owners. They let the kids dig through the 300+ video collection. The rooms are large and comfortable. My wife and I stayed in the Nelson room while the kids stayed in the Lucy's Hideaway room. Both rooms are connected to a common... More

Staying at the Marl Inn is like stepping into a storybook. We were greeted by Poppet who walked us to our room through a well tended garden and yard. Poppet immediately made us feel at home and gave us a tour of the room and some tips of things to do while we were in the area. We stayed there... More
