I gave this campground a soft three stars. Real soft! Like any campground near a population center, you tend to get a lot more noise at night. This campground is near Ventura and Oxnard. It appears to be a popular site on the weekend for large family reunion style get togethers. You get two or three adjacent sites and party... More

We try to get together with family members in March and for Halloween. In March we get B campground and for Halloween we get F. The only reason we go there is for the family get togethers. Their pricing is and has always been weird. If you have an extra vehicle make sure they can see the sticker in the... More

Traditional camping with an upgrade from Camping Adventures made our weekend EASY! We arrived with food, clothing and sleeping bags. EVERYTHING else was taken care of. When we departed, we packed our belongings and headed home. During our stay, we had the convience of our own bathroom, shower, refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, a queen bed and triple bunks. Our three... More

Lake Casitas campground is about as nice as it gets. Quiet, inexpensive and very clean sites. all the hook=ups appear new and everything worked. At $35 per night for water and electric it is a bargain

I am in my early 50's and have been camping since I was a child. I have backpacked, rustic camped, boat camped, dirt camped etc... all the way through to now owning a large RV. My extended family wanted to have a reunion, and we chose Lake Casitas because it was a halfway point for most of the travelers. I... More

I know we are in their territory, but my experience was SCARY. I got what I thought was an awesome site B35. Very big site with a magnificent view of the lake. The first night we were there we pulled out the goodies for smores. We are sitting around the fire when we hear a lot of scuffling and look... More

We are a local to the area and this is one of our go-to's for a little escape but unfortunately it's a getaway for a lot of other locals that just treat it like a party park. Loud music throughout the campgrounds, camp spaces are maxed out beyond capacity for each site. (there is no telling were one site begins... More

I am staying with my family in F for the second year in a row and we are all really enjoying it. The weather is excellent, the lazy river is fine, the fellow campers are mellow, the store caters to kids, not a lot of diet soda variety, cable is cool, sprinklers get stuff wet, no showers is weird, and... This review is for the Waterpark, not the camping area. Such a small waterpark for the price to get in ($48 for 4 of us). I wish there had been a groupon! However, we went with a group of kids (aged 6-10) and they all had a blast. There is not much there for the adults except for the lazy... More

Well I was excited to bring my niece and kids here on a Saturday, so I checked their website a bunch of times and it seemed great. WRONG. We got there, paid $17 for parking, then, after driving for over an hour to get there that day, we were told they were SOLD OUT. What?? No mention if this anywhere... More
