Good size room. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom. No ac but fan provided. No nets on the windows so be carefull if you have small children. Very close to the beach. Couple of bars and restaurants near by. Continental breakfast available.

Stayed here for 3 nights with the family and enjoyed the stay but unfortunately the area is not too safe at night. There were too many "kids" hanging out at the liquor store across the inn drinking and smoking (not cigarettes) and being loud. Our room was pretty clean but the fixtures definitely need to be replaced. The bathroom was... More

My husband and I stayed in room 212. A king non smoking room. They have no a.c. so we had to open the Windows for ventilation. No screens on the window and located at the smoking tables. A fan is provided which draws in the smoke from the multiple. Construction workers who stand right outside the window smoking until 2am... More

My wife and I booked this hotel because we needed to make a quick two-day trip to Ventura. We have always stayed at the Inn on the Beach on Seward Ave., but because we didn’t plan ahead, it was booked. We have always liked the atmosphere at the beach on Seaward, restaurants, beach, etc., so we looked for an alternative... More

Coming here I wasnt sure what to expect but WOW! what a find.. Everything was booked for fair at astronomical prices ... almost ready to give up i saw this place and gave it a shot.....I am SO HAPPY I did. I favor places like Crowne due to room service, in house restaraunts and buisness centers. Truthfully i didnt realize... More

My wife's mother passed away and due to Ventura having a Johnny Cash festival hotel space was very limited. I ran across the website for Shores Inn and saw some initially favorable reviews so out of pure necessity we booked on-line and prepaid three nights for a king bed room. When we arrived the room had a queen bed in... More

I enjoyed staying there , great location, price was ok. The linens had a funny smell not sure they get changed everyday. A couple of blocks to the beach. Employees (Trevor I believe was his name) very friendly, and ready to help, made me feel at home.

I have never written a bad review before but this one is bad. We were recommended this motel by their sister motel in the hills. We checked in and then 20 minutes later checked out and got our money back. The clientelle that were already staying there were yelling and screaming at each other - using foul and abusive language.... More

We stayed there one night. It was dirty all over. The duvet is dirty and smelly, looks like haven't been washed for years. Microwave has spills in it. The fan in the room was so loud and mad me feel I am sleeping by a operating plane! I couldn't sleep at all, the noise, the smell invests. Horrible horrible horrible... More

This Inn/Suites is short of even being that. Yes, I looked by the beach, but the area is just run down. Just take a look at my pic's. For the price you pay, you are better off staying at the Holliday Inn or even better, take the 30 - 40 min drive and enjoy Santa Barabra. Much cleaner and the... More
