Adequate hotel for the price. Not the greatest location for scenery but extremely close to the major road networks if you are on your way elsewhere. Room was dated but spacious and clean. The front desk was very helpful. The rooms were ok. But the management wasn't very friendly. The owners should really work on that. more

The hotel was just ok but the cleanliness and ammentiies were disappointing. The hotel is old although remodeled somewhat. Front desk person on Sunday morning was out taking a smoke instead of helping us. Wouldn't stay there again. Would pay more to stay elsewhere. more

The inn was very centrally-located, midway between downtown Ventura and the ferries to the Channel Islands, and close to US 101. Rooms were spacious, quiet and included a fridge. Breakfast vouchers were provided daily to the Denny's across the street, and this was quite convenient. more

First of all Comfort Inn in Ventura is not a bad place to stay. We especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at Denny's, across the street from the hotel. We must have received a different room than the previous reviews; Dark depressing hallways; burns on spread; dangerous TV cabinet door; could not get thermostat to work. No in-house breakfast. Noisy. only two skimpy shredded bath towels. Checked out two days early. Sunday desk clerk not the friendliest person. more

Had a great weekend trip to Ventura and stayed at this hotel. It was close to the beach and the people were very helpful. We had free breakfast and the room was nice and clean. I would definitely go back to stay again. more
