This charming hotel is showing her age a little (built in 1986), but the views can't be beat. It is right on the sand with an outstanding view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are charming, although the furniture is worn. Be sure to get a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor for the best view.... More

They should change the name to "Dump on the Beach", it is truly a dump place right on the beach, filthy, run down, smelly and too expensive for what you get. The evening manager was very pleasant, however, the morning desk person (heavy set man with long grey and fungus fingers) was not very social. Next time we will stay... More

Spent one night for an anniversary. Property is a bit old, but they are remodeling with an antique theme and the rooms are super cute. I gave 4 stars because the wifi didn't work, and the balconies are not completely private ( you can see your neighbors.) The real reason we were there was the proximity to the beach and... More

As many of the previous reviews, I agree with most. The location is excellent. If you like the beach and wonderful sunset views from your porch, this is the place. Though the beach is large, very nice, and lots of sand, not many folks taking up space. It was quite sparse... this is a good thing. The upper 2nd and... More

Love the location because you are literally right on the beach as soon as you walk out of the hotel. The 2nd and 3rd floors are awesome views of the ocean/ beach area. Friendly staff are always present and ready to help. Beds are comfortable and clean, but as expected the floors have sand all the time. I personally think... More

My boyfriend and I have stayed here twice because we love the panoramic ocean view. The housekeeping could be better, but I don't mind a little dust because I love watching the crashing waves from the balcony. We enjoyed walking on the beach to the pier, where we had drinks and appetizers. There is also a nice Italian restaurant with... More

Run the other way! Location is great! That's where the positives end! We thought it was absolutely terrible and left early. It was honestly the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel. THERE IS NO HEAT OR AIR CONDITIONING. The entire place is covered in old, grimy, stained carpet and outdated floral wallpaper. In our room, the bathroom was... More

We were recommended for a friend of mine boyfriend to visit the site. That was so cool from him. We loved the place, I felt as good as it gets....my boyfriend the same thing, nice....only one thing, it was a Lil cold and we could not get into the water......uh...another thing, there was oil in the sand and we got... We read the Tripadvisor reviews before booking this so our expectations were realistic. This is one of those places where both the good reviews and the bad reviews are accurate. It's a beautiful location on a nice beach with some good restaurants right down the street. It's at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. But - it's true the place... More

It was easy to overlook the piles of dust, dirt, bugs flying around the lobby, and having to wear flip flops to walk on the carpet in the room in exchange for the view of the Pacific ocean. This place is in desperate need of Hotel Impossible for a number of reasons. I can go on for ever but let... More
