This place has great views and you go to sleep with sounds of surf just outside the door. The rooms are basic, with odd wicker furniture, but serviceable. The staff was helpful. The very best thing about this place is the Shoals Restaurant downstairs. Absolutely marvelous! I haven't had that great of seafood in a while (and I live in San Francisco). Ahi tuna on seaweed salad melted in my mouth. The flavors of ginger and soy were perfect. Mussels almost as big as my fist and absolutely the moistest and most flavorful salmon I have ever had (better than mine)! The room is just fine but you cannot beat the food. more
