I spent the night at Bayshore, looking for a quiet nights sleep. At 1am I awoke to screaming from the room next door. At first I was going to call the police, this sounded pretty bad, a man screaming VERY loudly at who knows who. Instead I called the manager and reached his wife. I told her the problem, she... This is a very very basic motel - small room, No toiletries other than 2 tiny pieces of soap, no hair dryer, no in-room coffee, no breakfast. We were forced to find a room quickly in the middle of the evening due to a dispute with another hotel that we had a reservation at. The lady on the phone made... More

We had some trepidation about staying at a 2 star hotel, but were pleasantly surprised. This is not the Four Seasons or the Ritz, but our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly and attentive. A good value. We will stay there again.

I booked a room for a friend of mine who was driving from the east coast to the west coast. He needed a place near Santa Barbara to stay. Everything was booked. This place had a room available so I booked it and paid for it. I called my friend to let him know about the reservation I made. He... More

Newly remodel room w/air cond was advertised on the motel website as well as on booking.com. When we asked the assistant to the owner he sarcastically stated "the ceiling fan is your air conditioning. The room was no less than 85 degrees. The bathroom sink leaked from a rusty pipe out of the wall. The toilet was not mounted securely... More

Fleas jumping on you, no smoke detector, lamps without shades... checked out early, took 6 weeks to get a response for a refund and then was shorted. We checked the reviews before booking and found them to misleading after getting there.

We stayed here on a weekend when every hotel in the area was booked. Bayshore Inn was a very pleasant surprise - the rooms looked like they had been recently updated, they were clean and the bathrooms, though small, were totally adequate and also very clean. This isn't a luxury property but it was totally fine for our needs and... More

We relocated to Ventura and needed a motel with a kitchen. Thank god we found the Bayshore Inn and Mayur, the owner. He and his wife are extremely kind and attentive. The room is large with a separate, full kitchen. Which is so much better having it separate from where you sleep. I know they also have rooms without kitchens.... More
