Like so many reviews you can read we too were here on a USBC recommendation for our bowling tournament. We arrived after 3:00PM so we had no wait time upon check in. The first thing I was asked upon arriving was how my day was going. I explained that I was tired because we had gotten up quite early that... More

This hotel was a recommended hotel by the USBC during their Nationals Bowling Tournment. We arrived at the hotel at 11:30 am and I went to check in. The first thing I noticed was the front desk staff speaking to each other in Spanish in front of guest. One of my biggest pet peeves! When it became my turn to... More

A bunch of us went out to bowl so we stayed here. What of waste of money, first the shower runs out of hot water, then something happens to the toilet, then the air breaks. And all they can say at the desk is we have to see the manager well its four am and we at this point on... More

This hotel is at the heart of downtown El Paso bordering Juarez Mexico. A lot of construction has changed much of what I remember about downtown. Hotel rooms are very spacious and have room service available plus pool on top floor with great view of the city.

This was one of the sponsored hotels for the national bowling championships in El Paso. It was very convenient to be right across the street from the convention center. I received a great discount through the USBC and would stay here again at that price but, at the price they are asking currently without a discount I would not. The... More

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for the USBC National Tournament just this past weekend. We arrived around 11am and were told we couldn't check in until 3pm, which was fine. They told us so we could wait in their lobby since we have been driving for 15 hours. We had no problem doing that. We took a... More

This hotel needs a complete remodel. This place is a disaster. If it was inspected by city officials it would be shut down in a heart beat. The elevators are terrifying and the one in the middle doesn't have a sensor and my son almost got crushed. The place is in total disrepair. People were complaining about bed bugs. The... More

We stayed here over Memorial Day week-end. It is an older hotel in downtown and was okay, but there is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. No desk and only one chair (two queen beds.) To watch TV one of us had to set on the bed. And the TV was one of the OLD type. The breakfast and... More

The Camino Real is located in downtown El Paso, very convenient to the theatre, convention center, museums, the minor league ballpark, and more. The lobby is very nice and the staff is professional and courteous. The rooms are a nice size and were clean. The fitness room was a good size with a variety of equipment. Our group was in... More

The Camino Real claims to be a historic luxury hotel, but it's more like a Motel. It certainly is historic... the place could use a $20 million renovation and it would be nice. The rooms and bedding were outdated. The bathroom was like a locker room. Service was poor as well. We had booked a queen sized room and were... More
