Kinda cool old high rise downtown hotel in El Paso's somewhat decrepit CBD. One block from the Juarez bridge. Nice view from top floors of the lights (& squalor) of that cursed Mexicanbordertown. The Blue Dome, a magnificent Louis Comfort Tiffany masterpiece graces the ceiling of the lobby bar. Check in was slow and inefficient. The hotel room was sorta... More

Poncho Villa slept here. Classic hotel from the 20ies. Updated features, good restaurants, excellent bar, good sized rooms, nice amenities. Shuttle to airport is appreciated. Reasonable rates. Next time I need to go see a baseball game next door

....they really need to do some work. With all that is going on in downtown El Paso this should be the jewel of the crown. sluggish service at check in, but when there is a valet service is great. breakfast buffet is weak. Bar is kind of fun. Building is classic, like the old tube TV's in the rooms. But... More

We spent about three days at Camino Real and I honestly have mixed feelings about the experience. I can't say the hotel is horrible but it definitely seemed to lack a few things. I'll start with the "bad". First, upon our arrival, the gentleman at the front desk was not warm or welcoming at all. Barely looked at us and... More

I was very impressed with the lobby and bar area when I walked in. It is VERY nice, large Tiffany dome over the bar is beautiful, lobby is well appointed. All the staff I came into contact with were very professional, friendly and courteous. We were upgraded to a corner room and everything looked awesome when I walked in. The... More

I've read other reviews about this hotel and find that I can only say good things. Spent the weekend here on a corporate retreat. The hotel is fabulous and steeped in history. The beautiful stained glass dome in the lobby bar is soooo pretty. Our rooms were large and nicely appointed. The service was certainly up to par. This hotel... More

This historic hotel has an incredible stain glass entry hall that has been converted to a great bar. A good formal dining room is right off the bar. The rest of the hotel has been updated and is quite nice for the price--very reasonable and a great value hotel. Parking downtown is free and the location is great. The Art... More

I booked this hotel because it was advertised as a 4 star. It is not even a 2 star in my opinion, here's why: -brown water coming from the sink -no hot water. The staff told us we needed to wait 10 mins for the water to become hot. It never did. Update your plumbing -room smelled awful -hotel staff... More

My husband and I booked and paid for a "Tiffany Package" in person at the Sales office a month in advance as a wedding gift to our son and his new bride. My son and his wife arrived for their wedding night stay and were told that there was no reservation. My husband got on the phone immediately, gave the... More

I've tried really hard to like this hotel. Really hard. I travel to El Paso every 2-3 weeks and the location is convenient for work and the downtown has a decent atmosphere if you know where to look. I think my last stay (4th total) will be my last. The rooms are in a desperate need of an update. I... More
