The lobby is renovated, and the restaurant and bar are quite nice. Once you get up to rooms, however, they seem to be a little stuck in time (not the "golden era" of the hotel. Think 1985 Ritz Carlton). Pros: very clean, comfortable bed. Cons: industrial tile in bathroom, getting to shower required stepping over the toilet, single sink. This... More

We checked in with the concierge accompanying us to the room and providing valuable information for our touring Little Rock and beyond. The room (suite) is imaculate. The restaurant Eleven was very nice with sophisticated food. The water front is just behind the Marriott across the street.

To start with the only negative point that I can think of: AC was really noisy. Besides this Minor issue I can just say that this is one of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed in. Go experience this yourself!

Not only is this hotel beautiful, but the service and attention to detail are first class. We loved staying here and are thankful to the staff who helped make our 45th anniversary so special. I would highly recommend making this part of your stay in Little Rock.

In a town with an active military base, this hotel offers no military discount. A sad state of affairs to say the least. It's been quite sometime since I've encountered a hotel without a government rate. And to add insult to injury, the young woman I spoke with from reservations seemed put off by the fact that I was even... More

A hotel is most often a place to lay your head for the night and get some rest. The Capital is much more. The staff naturally make you feel at home and everything is done with a special touch. The rooms are very comfortable and the restaurants serve wonderful food and drink. We had drinks in the Capital Bar and... More

I found my room in this hotel to be very comfortable. The furnishings were a bit old and tired (no flat screen TV and worn rugs) but I had a quiet comfortable stay here. The staff were very very helpful and polite. They listened to my requests and were thorough and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone... More

Had a wonderful experience staying here for a long weekend. After the valet takes your car, you're met at the door by the concierge who has all of your details and leads you directly to your room through the opulent lobby and on the hotel's huge elevator. Rooms are tasteful decorated, have choice linens, quiet. Evening turndown service includes handmade... More

My wife & I spent two nights at the Capital last month. Our room on the third floor was quite large, well maintained and everything was in good working order. Our room had windows that faced inwards above roof of the lobby so there was no "view" but the room was very quiet. The beds were comfortable and the full... More

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The hotel is very well positioned for exploring the downtown area which was what we wanted to do. The only downside was there was no coffee maker in the room.
