This hotel is right in the heart of downtown Little Rock. I've heard about but never actually went there till recently. Once you enter the doors you take a trip back in time because of the decor which I absolutely love! The elevators are super spacious and it comes with a boutique and restaurant. The only reason I gave it... More

We needed a break from life's stressors and had always wanted to stay at the Capital but somehow never had. We had expected a great time, the maids walked in on us twice while we were dressing and 19 dollars was tacked on for valet parking. When you drive up they park your car, no one mentions the additional charges... More

What can I say? I MISS Ashley's....the new restaurant has much too bright lighting for dinner....the bar seems too "walk around the bar to find a table"....and I was surprised some of the tile flooring hasn't been "tended to". I LOVE this hotel ~ came here often when I lived in LR in the 80's.....had our second wedding reception on... More

The staff here is very attentive and although I had few requests the ones that I had were handled immediately. I was traveling alone and stayed in a queen room with high ceilings and large windows. The bathroom was spotless and large with a step in shower tub combo. The in house restaurant, 111 at the Capital Hotel. is modern... More

I love staying in historic or boutique hotels, so the Capital was an obvious choice for our one night in Little Rock. The lobby is amazing, and our room was just as elegant. Unfortunately, neither of the ladies working the front desk at the various times we passed through were knowledgeable about the hotel's history or public parking options. The... More

We enjoyed our stay in this classic historic hotel so much we paid for our son's honeymoon here a month later! The staff is professional, courteous and friendly. The hotel is kept up to a high standard. Thick robes are provided. The beds are very comfortable and the amenities of high quality. We saw a small stain on the outside... More

This is the southern hospitality you read about in books. My first trip to Little Rock and this hotel alone would have my returning in a minute. They called a few days before our arrival to make sure they could accommodate any special requests, if we were celebrating a birthday or anniversary. You are greeted by name as you walk... More

When you visit Little Rock it's a must go in. One of the prettiest lobbies you will find.A great place to impress your friends . I wil stay there on my next visit. The location is perfect to meet with clients in the bar.

We stayed at the Capital Hotel for one night and I wish we could have stayed longer. This hotel was built in the late 1800's. We were told that with one exception every president from then on has stayed here. The hotel is elegant and the staff is marvelous. We stayed in a large junior suite with a sitting area... More

The Capitol Hotel is incredible in every way. The concierge escorted us to our room and asked which newspaper we would like in the morning. A personal note from the manager was on the table in our room welcoming us back for our second visit. The rooms are large and nicely appointed with high ceilings and very comfortable beds. There...
