The staff are amazing. Deborah and Lisa are very kind and efficient. I made our reservation over the telephone, and we were informed what time checkin was. We arrived and Lisa showed us around this beautiful house. I applaud the owners for all the detail they did, when they restored this house. You feel you are at home in an... More

My husband and I just spent our five year anniversary at this amazing mansion. Even though our room wasn't in the main mansion but rather a side house, we felt very much felt part of the house. Breakfast was amazing every morning spent with other guests of the house. Accommodations were very clean, even considering how many antiques and wood... More

It was the best experience we had in Little Rock. This place gave us more than just hospitality. The hostess was lovely with pure kindness and the place is a fine peace of historical museum. We stayed at the Petit Jean Suite and it was an amazing night that truly worth 7 stars. Beautiful garden and excellent parking in a... More

This was our second stay at The Empress. You could not ask for more professional or personable attention by the owners and staff. We stayed in the carriage house on both stays, however we received a full tour of the main house as well as full access. It is an amazing structure with tons of history. The neighborhood is unique... We had an amazing stay at the Empress for our 11 year anniversary. The Hornibrook suite was absolutely gorgeous, complete with a jacuzzi claw-foot tub. The staff was more than accommodating and catered to our every need. The candlelit breakfast, champagne, and chocolates made for a very romantic weekend--so much so that we got engaged at the B&B! It was... More

The Empress bed and breakfast of Little Rock Arkansas was incredible. The service was fantastic and it is a great place to stay for couples. The breakfast daily was also fabulous. The food was great and the servers were dressed like Victorian times. We were even served with silver service. i would highly recommend this place to couples. We stayed... More

The owners, staff & building are one in the same. They compliment one another perfectly. The "Empress" is truly one of a kind & we are so glad we stayed in her. I only wish they had stayed part of the "Select Registry" group of inns & B & B's. That is how we found her. Loved the "marshmallow" bed.... More

Words will not do justice to our experience. The room, breakfast, hospitality, service and pampering were excellent. This is the best experience we have had with our bed and breakfast travels. We had nothing but a pleasurable time. The home and gardens were in full show and a nice way to finish the evening with a stroll through the secret... More

My mother, daughter and I came to Arkansas from the St. Louis area to do a little research on our genealogy project and chose The Empress as our place to stay. We were completely awed and impressed! The Empress is the best bed and breakfast I've stayed in, hands down. I will definitely tell family and friends what a wonderful... More

Beautiful antiques in a modern setting and a nightcap of amaretto on the dresser says it all. Friendly, helpful owner; wi-fi is excellent. Would definitely stay here again. A good mix of modern amenities in a historic building. Great location.
