This home has been magnificently restored and furnished with many beautiful antiques. The amenities are above average. So, why the middle of the range rating? Many B&Bs have owners or hosts who interact with their guests. I prefer an establishment where the host joins the guests at the breakfast table and finds out about the guests, tells stories about the... More

What a lovely place to get away for a few days after nine years of marriage. It was nice to meet Lisa and Bob. The room was very nice and clean, shower and hot tub was fun... The bed sheet was the best ever, didn't want to leave them behind. The mansion is beautiful and elegant. The poker room is... More

First time at a Victorian Bed & Breakfast. I was blown away but the place. We looked at the pictures on the internet and it looked good. The pictures did not lie. In fact it is more stunning that the pictures. I can not even find words to express how wonderful the staff was. Deborah & Lisa were awesome. Breakfast... More

This was a gift to ourselves for the weekend. These are the most gracious hosts and beautiful furnishings ever. Breakfast is spectacular, the amaretto in the room is a great touch and the staff are above and beyond. We stayed in the Chatelaine and it is very impressive. Debrah was very accommodating and extremely courteous and pleasant.

I booked a night here as a surprise for my wife, and she loved it! She wants to come back once in a while and make it a tradition! We stayed in the nautical-themed Petit Jean room, and it looked as great in person as it did in the pictures! The bed was super comfy and the overall feel of... More

This is a very unique B&B, have never seen anything like it. My husband and I have stayed there twice now. The first time in the "Hemingway Suite" second stay was in the "Majestic". I preferred the decor of the Majestic, it's lovely (both are, it all depends on individual taste) Both rooms are located in the carriage house next... More

Unbelievable decor. From the yard / garden to the common area to the room itself and the service, simply amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better trip, Bob / Sharon and Debbie were amazing, anything needed was taken care of.

Our stay at The Empress was as passers-through. My husband and I stayed in the Washburn-Welch Room for one night. This place is gorgeous, and full of history and stories! It is quiet and peaceful, and warm and welcoming. We didn't get the privilege of meeting Bob and Sharon, but the hostess Deborah was absolutely a joy! The Empress goes... More

The Majestic Spa Suite was very roomy and exceptionally clean. The decor was beautiful. We enjoyed using the massage and steam shower as well as the large jacuzzi tub. The breakfasts served were delightful! We enjoyed being served by the Inn hostess rather than the usual buffet style. Our hostesses answered any questions that we had about dining and sightseeing.... We enjoyed our two days at the Empress as we celebrated a combo birthday/anniversary. It was perfect! Lisa and other staff were very accommodative and the building is mind boggling in its history, restoration and comfort. Not your ordinary breakfast, either. What a way to start the day. We highly recommend The Empress of Little Rock as a wonderful alternative... More
