We stay here frequently when attending Cedar City's Shakespeare Festival. Although not the closest motel, we think it is the the best choice. Our room was spotless (bedding and bathroom). Loved that they provide a sanitized remote control for the television. Although the front desk was surprisingly uninformed about the events of the festival, they were more than willing to... More

We stayed here for 4 days to attend the Utah Shakespeare Festival but will not stay here again. This is after at least 3 or 4 stays at this property over the past years since we go to the Festival every year. The front desk was just OK but certainly not friendly. Our room was just OK but the air... More

The beds were great, check in easy, free breakfast was pretty good. Bathrooms were very clean. The check in clerk was very helpful as we had to add an extra room at the last minute. It was funny that there was no coffee pot on the coffee pot stand but we don't drink coffee anyway.

We enjoyed our rooms which were clean and attractive Although we did not understand the absence of an outlet by the mirrored counter outside the bathroom. Breakfast choices were very good as well. My one problem was that upon checking in our rooms were not adjoining which had been a specific request as I was traveling with teen age grandchildren.... More

Past several years we have had excellent service, friendly employees who went out of their way to help us with special needs. NOT in 2014. We stayed for 3 days. The front desk staff (2 different people) were not friendly or welcoming. Our room had very poor lighting in general, plus we had to ask for a lightbulb for 1... More

We booked the Best Western Town and Country in Cedar City based on previous experience. We found it to be improved n many ways. The crisp service at the front desk remains the same. The desk clerk was quite helpful in selecting a restaurant since it was Sunday evening and most Cedar City restaurants were closed. Room furnishings have been... More

The room we had was very clean, no off odors or electronic problems. There were plenty of outlets for charging our electronics. The breakfast had enough variety to cover our dietary needs. The TV remote had limited capability and required a browse and wait for the commercial to end method. It was the only drawback.

Friendly check in. No elevator or bell man. Rooms clean but furniture is broken down and uncomfortable. Very little natural light in the rooms. A/C loud and needed to blowing constantly to keep the room cool. Breakfast room way to small, staff unfriendly and look at you like to have two heads if you ask for eggs. Buffet not replenished... I stayed at this hotel so I could attend a Shakespeare play. It is a short drive to the theater. I got a good nights' sleep. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable.. The free breakfast was good.

We booked the two queen bed suite and we were glad we did. It was huge, clean and nicely furnished. It was equipped with two flat screen tvs (lots of channels), a fridge and microwave. The housekeeping crew made a crab out of one of the towels and placed it on the bed - pretty cute. The staff was very... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the BEST WESTERN Town & Country Inn! Many guests at our Cedar City hotel flock to the area for the famous Utah Shakespeare Festival. However, most guests are in the area to explore the stunning vistas, parks and mountains. Zion National Park is filled with hiking and mountain biking trails, while Bryce Canyon National Park is a favorite for nature photographers. Brian Head Ski Resort(R) is the place to be in the winter, and guests at our Cedar City hotel count on the warm, comfortable rooms we offer after a day on the slopes. Cedar City, Utah is a charming town where recreation, hospitality and great dining are in abundance. Even if you're just passing through, you'll be drawn to the simple appeal of the area. Our great location right on Main Street close to the Cedar City Regional Airport makes it easy to get around the area. Room amenities are top quality and we offer a great price for value. The large size of the rooms means there's plenty of space to bring your gear, whether it's your mountain bike or snowboard. Our downtown location is amidst shopping and restaurants, but we offer two restaurants on site for your convenience, too. Hiking and cycling are a way of life in this region, and the outdoor entrance to most rooms greatly reduces hassle with luggage and gear. The friendly staff members of our Cedar City hotel are happy to provide advice on everything, from where to eat to licensing for state park requirements. No matter what brings you to town, you deserve to be comfortable and treated like family. We prioritize hospitality here and are committed to making sure you enjoy your stay. ... more   less
