Wrote a full review on BedandBreakfast.com, but the highlights are, warm hugs, great wine and an engaging environment. The Breakfast was to die for; Monte Cristo/fresh fruit, etc. Get the 'Tempest red', a very nice finish. You will get 'into' who ever you're with, even if you're alone.....get the 'joy' king suite, killer shower. Will definately be back, hopefully soon.

A couple of years ago we stumbled across a little winery hidden in a quiet neighborhood in Cedar City on the site of a historic Bed and Breakfast. We loved the look of the Bed and Breakfast and recently returned to enjoy both. The winery has great wines to be enjoyed indoors or outdoors during a relaxed and pleasant tasting... More

We were looking for a place to cook and hang out with our kids while visiting Cedar City and found a comfortable "home" in the 2 bedroom suite. It is basically a two bedroom, two bath home next to the bed and breakfast, so you have space and privacy but can enjoy the very yummy breakfasts Susan prepares each morning.

We didn't have long but the trip to enjoy the Shakespeare festival was fantastic because staying at the Iron Gate made it so special. The winery tour, the ease of getting around from their proximity to the festival and nice restaurants, delicious breakfast, and clean and lovely room, were all great. Wish we had more time - we would definitely... More

Pair the Utah Shakespeare Festival with the Iron Gate Inn and we have the perfect weekend. The Inn is beautifully appointed and the hosts are gracious and accommodating. We visit several times each summer and have a wonderful time. Without hesitation, we recommend the Iron Gate Inn.

Was it good? We wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area! This is a beautifully restored, and expanded Victorian style Inn. BTW, the owners did much of the restoration work. The owners are friendly, & seem born to operate a high quality Inn. And, they're an ON- SITE husband/wife team. Isn't it interesting that qualty is high when the Bosses... More

My girlfriends and I make an annual trip to the Iron Gate Inn every year around this time. It's been 10 or 11 years since our first girls weekend and now it's our tradition. The iron Gate is my home away from home. Susan and CR are wonderful hosts and are always going out of their way to make accommodations... More

We have made staying at the Iron Gate B&B and buying wine from the winery an annual fall tradition. Beautiful hikes on the way, three plays at the Utah Shakespeare Festival during the weekend, plus comfortable rooms, excellent breakfasts and good company at the Iron Gate. Couldn't ask for a better weekend away!

We just returned from staying at the Iron Gate Inn -- our second time there. The location is perfect, the rooms are charming, the host and hostess are great, but we froze the whole time were there. Not just chilly, but bone-chilling cold. I'm not sure why -- there was just never any heat on. And breakfast was a disappointment--... More

We are so sorry that you were not completely satisfied with your stay. We only wish that you had alerted us to your discomfort while you were here, as we would have made every attempt to rectify it immediately. There is an additional convection heater that is installed in the room you selected, but we apologize for not making sure... More

This beautiful old building has been lovingly restored and beautifully decorated. I was given LucyBelle, named for the owners's grandmother who was a bit of a firecracker! It's a lovely room with a large bed and delicate writing desk, I had to carefully use for my work. The bed, pillows and bedding were good. The shower, towels and toiletries were... More
