The place is very cute and well taken care of with lots of character and decoration. Our bed was amazing soft, and we had a room with 3 shower heads that we absolutely loved. It was very fun being so close to everything in town, including the winery in your own backyard. I only didn't give it 5 stars because,... More

We stayed for 2 nights in the smallest room in the house and it was charming and plenty big enough and was bright and sunny. The whole house is delightful and decorated in keeping with the style of the house and with many quirky touches. As soon as we arrived Susan offered us a glass of wine to enjoy in... More

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. We went to Cedar City for three days to do some hiking in nearby Bryce Canyon and Zion. They made us feel very welcome from the start. The room was beautiful, clean and very nicely decorated. I stay in hotels a few nights a week and have grown very... More

The innkeeper Susan is very helpful, making reservations and every afternoon offering the guests a glass of wine to relax with in the lovely garden area. The location is ideal for walking to the Shakespeare festival, visiting Southern Utah University, or several close by restaurants. The rooms and baths are spacious and comfortable.

The Iron Gate Inn is an outstanding B&B. We were warmly greeted by Susan and C.R. Wooten and enjoyed our two-night stay there. The accommodations were outstanding across the board. Our room was spacious and very well decorated. The Inn had lovely sitting areas throughout. We bought wine from the co-located winery and had a pleasurable dinner there with Italian... More

The Iron Gate Inn is a first class operation. The Inn is beautiful and the owner, Susan, is what an innkeeper should be. She is knowledgeable and friendly. Her breakfasts were delicious. The inn is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It is a great base for visiting Zion and Bryce Canyon.

Every aspect of the experience of staying at the Iron Gate Inn was enjoyable, from the delicious breakfast to the ambiance of the property. The proprietors, Susan and CR, are consummate hosts. We plan on returning annually.

My husband and I returned, (again!), to the Iron Gate Inn for our anniversary over the summer. As always, it was a lovely stay. We enjoyed breakfast, even with our vegetarian diet, and the patio garden was lovely and lively with talk about the Shakespeare Festival which is within walking distance from the Inn. We were excited about the new... More

Excellent Bed and Breakfast run by a fantastic couple that goes out of their way to ensue their guests have a great stay. The great plus is, they are a stones-throw from delicious dinning and most of all a winery that making some of the best reds.

Comfortable beds and only a block's walk to the plays--what could be better? Well a delicious breakfast in the garden only added to the charm. One caveat, if you're hoping to sleep in, breakfast is served promptly at 8:15 for all guests.
