I've stayed at the Stratford B&B twice and both visits were wonderful. The rooms are cozy ans comfortable and Mary Beth makes breakfast that is fantastic. If you're taking in the scenery or the Shakespeare Festival, it's a great place to stay.

Second stay here - Cedar City is a lovely and relaxing town, and the Stratford Bed and Breakfast perfectly complements and enhances your visit to Cedar City. Walking distance to downtown, winery, and Utah Shakespeare Festival. Beautifully decorated with an antique Victorian feel. The breakfasts are fantastic, as is the host Mary Beth, and it's nice to get to know... More

This charming, attractive B&B, is beautifully decorated, close to the Shakespeare Festival and serves delicious, filling breakfasts. There are relaxing common spaces, such as the porch and the garden and a comfortable, attractive living room. The proprietor accommodates guest requests and schedules breakfast so that attendance at the festival seminars is still possible. The best part is the interesting people... More

A perfect place to stay when visiting Cedar City. We were there for the Shakespeare Festival and enjoyed walking just down the street to see the plays. The Picadilly room was charming, clean, and had all the amenities you could think of! Mary Beth is a wonderful host and we enjoyed her delicious breakfasts. Our first bed and breakfast experience... In addition to meeting charming & interesting people who stay at my b&b, it's always nice to hear that my efforts as an innkeeper are appreciated by my guests. More

Walking into the Stratford B&B is like walking into your own home. It's beautiful, comfortable and so welcoming. Breakfast is always an experience as well. Amazing food and enjoyable company are the perfect way to start your day. The location couldn't be better. Situated on a gorgeous tree-lined street, it's just a few houses down from SUU where you can... More

No matter what season you choose, this B&B never disappoints. Spring & summer yield gorgeous blooms, that bring hummingbirds, bees & butterflies as one sits lazily, in the rocker on the veranda. In the fall, one can't help walk the tree lined streets, marveling at mother nature sporting her "coat of many colors." Marybeth is an excellent host. She is... More

We have been staying here regularly for about ten years and look forward to being there again this summer. The location is excellent on a quiet, tree-lined street. Mary Beth is a most gracious innkeeper. Her breakfasts are always delicious and full of variety as well as being served at a beautifully set table. We have enjoyed MANY interesting conversations... We stayed at Stratford House in mid-October and couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Chilly outside, warm hospitality inside. Mary Beth is a perfect innkeeper and makes the best breakfasts in Utah. We have stayed here before. and are never disappointed. Each visit is better than the last

An innkeeper can make or break a B&B experience, and in the case of the Stratford House, Mary Beth and her attention to detail are the reasons to recommend the Stratford House. She was pleasant to talk to, made delicious breakfasts (much of ours on our 3 day stay leaned towards sweeter items...something that some of you might need to... More

I've been to a couple of B&Bs in Cedar City when we head down to the Utah Shakespearean Festival, and this is my favorite so far. It's very clean and you feel like you've just come home when you arrive. Within a very short walk of the festival, we found the breakfast set up (family style at a nice table)... More
