Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting nearby Zion NP. Found it to be a nice campground, and even if the tent sites were a tad close, I had enough space. It is a bit of a drive from the main Zion entrance, but a scenic one, and the closest KOA I found. The owner/manager was friendly, and helpful in... More

Cedar City was not a scheduled stop for us but we are very thankful we did stop. Staff was more than friendly the campground was nice. Some of the sites were smaller than we wanted, try for a premium site or in the end sites if you want your own grass to sit in.

I'm a total rookie at private campgrounds. Stayed at a few over the past few days on this trip and was delighted. Decided to give the famous KOA brand a go here in beautiful Cedar City, UT. I chose poorly. Stayed in a camp cabin. The price was $60! Log cabin in the back. I opened the door and it... More

The Cedar City KOA has been a destination for us for several years now. Even though management has changed hands several times since we've been going over the years, they still offer great service with a smile. They have horse shoes, a pool, and playground. I was a bit disappointed in the meager dog run area though. The kids were... More

KOA RV parks are never our first choice because they are just average. There were not too many options in Cedar City. We were pleasantly surprised. The pool was nice. The grounds were well maintained. The bathrooms/showers were clean and tidy. Staff was very nice.

One of the few KOA's that I have stayed at that is very clean and plesant to stay at. Facility had a huge group of families at the site - PArents were busy keeping kids active and under control. Good tree coverage for shade.

We had a tent site here, and we didn't like the fact that the tent sites are right next to a busy highway. This was pretty noisy up until around midnight. The tent sites were close together too, more so than at other KOAs I've been to. Also, be aware that if you have a tent site, you have a... More

Although this was a good standard KOA, we were disappointed by the tent sites. They are small plots very close to one another. For most, there is no vehicle access and you can't even park next to your small site. It felt more like camping in someone's backyard.

We were on our way to visit the Grand Circle of National Parks in Utah. It was getting late and we saw a listing for a KOA. When we got there, the place was fine, an ordinary KOA. We were advised that all the parks were easily accessible from this site so why not stay a few days? We booked... More

Whoever designed the camping ground wasn't thinking straight. The main tenting area is right along Main Street, which is quite busy. After I complained, I was offered an alternative tent site away from Main Street. This site is way nicer, next to a bubbling creek, but can accommodate only 4 parties. Even there one could still hear the traffic in... More
