This was literally the most disgusting place I've ever been. There was chewing gum on the wall, mold in the shower, cigarette burns through the whole thing. The attendant was aweful too. His shirt was dirty and when we went to talk about the room he gave us, he said "NO REFUNDS" which was fine, we left and went somewhere... More

We checked in as it was snowing out. Room 101 - the TV did not work, so we were put in room 102 where the TV worked, BUT, the room was so cold it was intolerable. We gave the heater 90 minutes and still it was too cold to survive. We left for warm room somewhere else. We got no... More

This hotel is rightfully placed near the very bottom of the TA hotel rankings. We originally planned to drive on to Kanab, but had to stop at Cedar City as it was getting dark. We saw quite a few cars in the motel parking lot and decided to take our chances. The best thing I can say is that the... More

Total is under two twenties, staff is quick checking you in, happy to extend (considering you were respectable) and the motel rooms pillows are nice, beds comfy, provides microwave and fridge, I even found the staff very smiley, friendly, and asking if I needed anything when I checked in and also in the morning. They were a cute and sweet... More

As soon as we checked in we wanted to Leave Our room had a 1/4 roll of toilet paper and when we ran out at 10 pm we went down stairs to look in our car for more as their office was closed and the owner told my husband that we needed to go to sleep already !!! My 30... More

Only 45 dollars for my wife and I and our dog. Includes two comfortable queen beds, continental breakfast and free wi-fi. The room smells like a typical budget motel. The TV works. Carpet by the door is a little torn but otherwise the room is in decent shape. I would stay here again if passing through Cedar City.

I visited this motel before taking a room. The room was very clean, the bathroom immaculate. While the motel is obviously not getting all of the TLC it needs on the outside, our room was very adequate. The continental breakfast was nothing to write home about --- coffee, cereal with whole milk, orange "drink" and store-bought and packaged breakfast rolls.... More

BOKED ON HOTWIRE(they choose a random hotel for a set price). I will never do that again. We travel often since our kids play travel softabll, so our e pentagons were just mediocre. Always trying different chains. We figured it wouldnt be that bad. WRONG. Ended up at the Bates Motel. Booked two rooms, one for us and the other... More

It's better than sleeping on the sidewalk - barely. First - the entry off the street - literally scraped both back and front of the van getting over the deep gutter. Second - the room had a dank, musty smell. Third - the host was rude and unhelpful. We actually canceled out and went to a different motel.

I booked this hotel for a colleague for one night based on reviews here, and that it was offering a $35/night rate. He went to his room and found cockroaches in the bathroom. He got switched to another room - that one had cockroaches ON THE BED. He left and went to Best Western down the street. I guess the... More
