Great location for getting around the city, cleaning staff where lovely and room was left spotless each day. The hotel is basic but clean, everything you need as a tourist exploring the city. The roof top bar is small but is quite enjoyable to look out on the empire state building.

I went to NYC with my family (mom, dad, sister, wife and 3 and 1 year old daughters) i made my reservation for this hotel since January, so when we arrived at the hotel, the worst two front desk employees told me that my reservation was cancelled because the credit card used to guarantee my reservation was declined approval for... Well, I have tried to book a room at this hotel several times but it was always fully booked when I had to be in NYC. This time (July 2015) I actually got a room. I was really happy. "Terrific," I thought thinking of the location (in Korea Town, 32nd st). When we got there, the lobby was really nice,... More

Dear Giulia73, We’re sorry you were not satisfied with your stay. Our rooms vary in size somewhat, but most are about average for hotel rooms in Manhattan. Manhattan hotel rooms are generally smaller than the rest of the country because it is very expensive and space is at a premium. We apologize for any inconvenience. We also apologize for the... The hotel is in a great central location and an easy walk from Penn station which is so handy if that is where you are arriving. The rooms are comfortable and a decent size. Breakfast is a buffet-type but includes waffles, toast, bagels, etc, we liked it. It does get busy but we didn't find this a problem as they... More

The hotel is old, but very elegant. The only negative thing is that the rooms are small, but the beds are very comfortable, service is great and we loved the rooftop bar called The Vu where you have a close view of the Empire State Building. It is just around the corner from it. Free breakfast each morning.

With NYC hotel prices soaring, this hotel offers good accommodations at prices at the lower end of what's available elsewhere in New York. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable and the bathroom was large enough with lots of counter space around the sink and a large shower. The room I was in had a small desk but the shape... More

This was my 3rd time to stay in this hotel and I have yet to find another that matches its combination of value, location, and quality. With a discount code I had, I was able to get the cost down to just under $200 per night over a Thursday through Tuesday stay. The location is great - central, a 5-10... More

Good value of money, such price with the room which is bigger and spacious size compare to other 'branded' hotels in New York. It's very clean and comfortable room. Close to Empire States Building, Marcy, Herald, etc. close to everything including Times Square just few blocks away, great location! Wonderful staffs, they did prepare our room just as we requested... More

Our room was clean and somewhat small. Hey that's NYC. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The midtown location was also good. It is in Korea Town with many Korean restaurants. It is close to the Empire State Building.

The hotel had a very modern feel when you walked in everything from lighting to the décor and had a nice atmosphere. The air in the room was amazing compared to some of the reviews saying it was not. The complimentary breakfast was nice considering a lot of hotels in NYC don’t offer it. The bed was very comfortable although... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
