We reserved a room 2 months ago and when we arrived the wheelchair lift was not operational and the attitude I got from the front desk was "what do you want me to do about it, it is not getting fixed" and started laughing. The bellman was of no help went out and asked my husband if he could walk.... More

The three things i look for in a hotel are quality of sleep, cleanliess and location. While the place is reasonably clean and the location is central and within a block from the subway, the quality of sleep is extremely poor. The matress is shot. The pillows are cheap. They provide one blanket in a duvet cover (i was afraid... More

Dear Hilarita, Thank you for your review. We are sorry you were not overall pleased with your stay. We can assure you that our duvet covers are very clean and that you can always request extra blankets or pillows if needed. The hotel is located on a very busy block where the restaurants are open 24/7. Unfortunately, we have no... More

The hotel was a huge bargain, $100s cheaper than other options in the immediate, Midtown/ Penn Station area. The service was excellent, and my room was perfectly clean, large, and comfortable, with newish furniture, flatscreen TV, etc.. Fun rooftop bar, very well-done (and free!) contintental breakfast. The staff, without exception, was delightful and eager to help. It is right in... More

My friends and I spent three nights at the La Quinta Inn in Manhattan. It is in the Korean section of the city. The staff was friendly and there were no problems with our reservation. The room was large by NYC standards. Everything was clean including the linens and the bathroom. We were kept well-supplied with soap and towels. Breakfast... More

This hotel is terrible, an so is the management. Two days prior to arrival, the hotel charged my credit card, and then one day prior to arrival they authorised it again, and then a third and final time at check. The elevators are very small and slow. The hallways to the rooms are damp and very musty. The rooms are... More

Dear RLJ_1990, Thank you for your review. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have faced. You were charged a bit extra because of an extra person staying the room which is true of all hotels in New York. We are pleased to inform you that we have completed a multi-million dollar renovation of the hotel including all hallways and... More

The rooms are small, as is the bathroom and tub. Clean though, and well thought out. The T.V. doesn't come in very well, but rarely watched it anyway. Close to Penn station. Very convenient for everything. Korean area. Great noodles for late night snacks.Elevators are slow, breakfast is okay. Still and all, I'll be back. Good value.

My 16 year old daughter and I stayed at the La Quinta Inn Manhattan. The location was perfect. We flew into Newark Airport and took the train to Penn Station and then walked to the hotel (2 blocks away). $12.50 each. Much cheaper than taking a taxi or private car and much quicker. 30 minutes total. The subway stop is... More

I stayed for one night on a Saturday night as I had a ticket for a play and needed somewhere affordable to stay. This hotel was by far the best hotel for the money for all my criteria. I read all the reviews before booking, and still got stuck in a corner room on the 12th floor. I figured that we were only in the room to sleep, so we would make the most of it. Dear MandFtravellers, Thank you for your review. We apologize for the noise coming from both the bar and the ice machine. Our rooms vary in size somewhat, but most are about average for Manhattan hotel rooms, some are a bit bigger and others are a bit smaller. We always try our best to take guests’ requests for specific rooms into... More
