Having booked at a different hotel in New York near Central Park and hating the tiny room, we decided to move to another hotel. Having stayed in La Quinta in Chicago, I decided to try my luck and book at another La Quinta. As luck may have it, I was able to book and move the very next day to... More

Myself and my daughter stayed here while on New York celebrating her 21st birthday. We had been to New York the previous year in August and had stayed closers to Times Square. we picked this hotel because we attended two events at Madison and my daughter wanted to do a lot of shopping. The area was perfect. We walked everywhere... More

We found the check in process very easy and simple. The man let us pay half in cash on arrival and the rest on card on check-out (perfect, as I was waiting for payday). The room itself was brilliant. Fantastic memory foam mattress, the shower was very powerful, we had toiletries re-stocked every time we used them, bed changed and... More

The hotel staff are really friendly, very accommodating and helpful. The downside was that our room was not big enough to swing a cat. Bathroom only big enough for one person to be in and nowhere to put luggage except in the cupboard. Everytime I wanted to access my luggage I would have to drag it out of the cupboard... More

My husband and I stayed there during the NBA All Star Weekend/Valentines/Dog show/NY fashion. Great location and good value hotel with Wi-Fi. This was a busy weekend in NYC and only one elevator was working. Most of the time employees hold the elevator for long period of time while customers were waiting. The room we stayed in was tiny (Queen... More

The hotel is wonderful, location is great, staff is friendly, room size is good, clean and functional, free coffee, free breakfast. This is my 40-50th business trip to New York city. We originally stayed at Hyatt Hotel one block away at $270 a night, smaller room, no coffee, no breakfast, no service. When walking past this La Quinta, we walked... More

Centrally located, as others say to: Empire State Building, Penn Station, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and subway was very close to reach all points. The hotel staff was very accommodating. Housekeeping in my room was great. Rates were good for my one week stay in January. The one morning I left early for the Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan Show... More

Easy to find we walked from train station to the hotel with suitcases and it was a breeze! Very central to everything in New York! Staff were really friendly, kind and helpful. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
