The Roosevelt hotel is nicely located close to grand central terminal in NYC and a short walking distance to Times Square. Check in was fast and with no problems. We stayed at the 10th floor and had kind of a view of the MetLife building. The rooms are a little bit dated but you can see that the house keeping... More

Standard quality . Good location. Almost nothing bad. This hotel has the most dense customer traffic I've ever seen before. Incredible check in and check out population. Incredible row at the reception desk esp on the peak hours. Worth to stay 2-3 days stay.

We have just arrived home after a 4 night stay at this hotel and if there's one thing I've learnt it's, NOT to believe everything you read on here. When we first arrived and husband went to check us all in (6 adults and 1 20 month old toddler) he was told there were only 2 rooms booked and that... More

We have stayed at The Roosevelt Hotel twice now. Once been 6 years ago for my husbands 30th birthday and the second 2 years ago for our engagement. One word can describe this hotel and that is FABULOUS. It is a classic New York Hotel. Traditional and full of history. The location is perfect. Close to Times Square, 5th Avenue... More

Some friends and I stayed at the Roosevelt while in NYC for a bachelorette party. The hotel is in a prime location, close to times square and all the broadway shows. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it's very close to many great food stops!

The bathroom was very small but there was a mirror on the outside door so that allowed my mom and I to get ready simultaneously. It was very cold during our stay but the room was kept very hot with instructions to keep the heat on. I couldn't abide and had the AC on the entire time we were there... More

The staff at the Roosevelt was excellent. Beautiful hotel and very convenient. Hotel is located across the street from Grand Central Station. Lots of shops near by the hotel. Our room was very nice and very confrontable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The is my second visit here in 3 years. Rooms are much more clean than they were the first time. It is an older hotel in a great location. The staff is attentive to any issues. I was places in a smoking room initially and was immediately upgraded to a better room with an apology. The lobby bar is nice... More

This is a great hotel! The lobby is lovely, and the bar,in my humble opinion,is the best hotel bar in New York, and Eddie is the best bartender! The rooms are as good as any I've experienced in Little Old New York. And of course it's musically historic,Guy Lombardo played for ovar thirty two seasons here and thirty four New Years Eves. The management pays... My husband booked the hotel and trip as a present for my 30th Birthday. He emailed the hotel to see if we could have a nice view of NYC to make the trip special. They didn't respond and gave us a room with a horrible view (we were on the inner bit of the hotel so view was of pipes... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
