The location is amazing for our sightseeing, you could walk anywhere in midtown. The hotel is a beautiful historic hotel. When checked in the room wasn't available, which was expected because we were there early. We didn't expect the slow bell hop service. We also has slow bell service on check out. The lobby bar was pretty nice a little... More

My husband and I traveled with our grandson, we spent 4 days. When I booked the room I was told we would have a queen bed, and a rollaway @ 35$ a day. To our suprise we had 2 doubles! Windows kind of dirty so view not that great, but everything else was clean! Air conditioning was out in the... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Roosevelt for four nights in February 2014 for her birthday . We had been initially staying in hotel further downtown but moved when we learned there was building work going on we did not regret it. Yes, the Roosevelt has the air of faded grandeur and the decor is old fashioned, but the... More

This is an old hotel with a huge lobby, wide hallways and generous rooms. There is a lot of dark wood furniture and old paintings. It has history and class. Even though it is old, it is well maintained and clean as a whistle. The beds are comfortable and our rooms were quiet. The bathrooms were not large, but were... More

This hotel was just okay. The location was good. The staff wasnt friendly at all and the hotel coffee shop was the worst. The coffee was horrible and the 2 girls working behind the counter were extremely rude. Breakfast was not included, no mini bar and no refrigerator. Room service was until 12 noon only.

Yes, this is a 90 year old hotel but old doesn't have to mean run down, the Plaza is an old hotel and it is magnificent. Location is perfect the lobby is magnificent and hints to an era of grandeur. I read many reviews of this hotel unfortunately all too late as the booking and payment had been made up... More

My family of four spent 4 nights in this hotel. This was the 2nd time we'd stayed, the first being just my husband and I for 2 nights. When my husband and I stayed about 5 years ago we had a great experience. This review looks at things through a family lens. First the pros: * within a "New York... More

I stayed here for a harrowing 8 nights and will never forget the musky smell, terrible cleaning, loss of something we left outside the room for two minutes, and overall attitude. I had to reset my door card to the room at least twice a day and had to be put through hell to reset it. People waiting for 20+... More

this hotel was just okay... Thankfully we only spent minimal hours in room to sleep. You need to have a sense of humor in bathroom....holes in walls and had to sit sideways to use the toilet...less than 6 inches from wall. Location was good but that's about it. I expect a lot more of a 4-star hotel (according to priceline).

At first we thought the hotel was great but after staying one night we realised this was not the case. The beds were comfortable but the bathroom had so many ants and we certainly didn't leave food on the bathroom floor. We called to complain about this and told that the problem would be fixed, and so it was, until... More
