JUST checked in to The Roosevelt a few minutes ago for a cocktails/dinner affair with a group of friends, and I couldn't wait to write this review. This hotel is very classy. I'm in room 804, and the space is immaculately clean, spacious enough, and nicely decorated. You can see the pictures for yourself. Perfect for a stay to meet... More

We stayed here for a business meeting and the events staff, specifically Tori and Danielle were amazing - making the business side of the trip a 100% great experience. The location, by Grand Central, Midtown, make this hotel a great location. The hotel staff are friendly, and busy. The rooms are just a bit on the tired side and average... More

The hotel is very convenient to anything you wanted to do. The staff were quite helpful and very pleasant. The hotel offered an amazing ambiance. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. The only complaint I had, and it is really not a complaint is the fact that there was not a coffee maker in the room... More

This hotel was a horrible situation. The room was rundown, ac was not working. We were dying from the heat. But it all pales in comparison to the disgusting staff. The desk staff is so rude, no help offered, no room change, she told us it was an old building and to get over it.The tv was terrible. We were overcharged and... More

When you walk in you'll be swept away, it's so pretty, the bars and decor is amazing and they have this big centre table piece and big chandelier it's really beautiful, also gift shops which sell loads of designer stuff and a hair salon. The only bad thing was i was coming from the uk and really excited to go... More

The staff members we encountered this past weekend were incredibly rude. When we tried to leave our bags with the bellmen after checking out on Sunday we waited for about 15 minutes and then got caught in the middle of a fight between two bellmen. They miscounted the amount of tags needed and told us to go identify our bags... More

Old hotel. Rooms and ammenities are in need of an update. AC was very loud. Room was ok at best. Bathroom very outdated, could have been cleaner. Bed was low quality. Not worth the price tag at all. More orientated to business travellers than tourists. We originally booked 4 nights here but decided to cancel the last 2 nights and... More

The Roosevelt Hotel has that old world charm. The lobby is breathtaking with beautifel crown molding that you don't see anymore. Surprisingly, the hotel rooms are quite large (for New York City standards) and reasonably priced (again for New York standards). While I was there they were filming for a TV show so a little bit of the TV/Movie magic... More

The hotel location is optimal and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are OK but the noise from a central system goes on for 24/7. So is your room located near this, you will need earplugs if you would sleep the full night.
