The lobby of the hotel is absolutely stunning and makes a great first impression however the rooms are nowhere near to the same high standard, the rooms are ok but not at all what you would expect from the hotel's photographs on their website. The air con in the room only has one setting, on or off, there is no... More

We picked this hotel as it looked very grand. You have to go into a lift to get to the lobby, as the lift doors open you get a grand view of the lobby area and I have to say I thought great if this is what the lobby looks like then the room will be lovely as well. We... More

I really love that "The Roosevelt" doesn't respond to negative reviews, only the positive ones. That's just terrible, very good example of poor customer service. I stayed three nights last week-what a rip off! The bed was THE WORST I have ever slept on in a hotel. They charge for internet, so when they mess up, which looks like they... More

We've just got back from a week at the Roosevelt hotel, first impressions was the very friendly and approachable staff on front desk, the room was an adaquate size and also was clean.....ie towels and bedding, I would say the only negative to the hotel was the $28 for a buffet style breakfast, but it wasn't that a big of... I recently got married and part of the excitement was planning the honeymoon. We decided on the Roosevelt. It had a lovely traditional feel and look about it and it seemed the perfect location for a romantic week at Christmas. As you may have seen from previous posts, I am a Coeliac and so it is vitally important to find... More

We recommend The Roosevelt Hotel - an old hotel been remodeled, midtown Manhattan very convenient, clean and pleasant experience. The staff were very accommodating. The restaurant was good too. Will rate 3 1/2 - 4 stars . Will recommend to visit.

We enjoyed our stay at The Roosevelt. Yes, the property could use some updating. BUT, the room was very clean, bathroom was very, very clean, you absolutely cannot beat the location and our rate was very good. The Roosevelt's proximity to Grand Central Station and Times Square made this trip one of the best we have taken with regard to... More

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. The location of course is great and it's the strong point of this hotel! The hall is huge and spectacular, this also really does its job! The rooms are quite big with a great view, but a little bit too crumbling, it would probably need a refresh... You have to... More

Apart from the great location, this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. They gave away our room and then 'upgraded' us to a crappier room. Our towels, bed sheets, and bed covers all had visible stains on them. It was insanely expensive and they wouldn't give us wifi. I'm not picky. I don't care if a room is... More
