The ambiance when you walk into the hotel is pure class. It's like you walked into an old black and white movie. I expected Bogart and Bacall to walk through the doors at any minute. But when my husband and I walked into our room, I had to check the door again to make sure we had the right one.... More

We stayed here for two nights in May 2014 We had done masses of research trying to find the best location and decent reviews for our budget. Though we were concerned with the mixed bag reviews on trip advisor we went ahead and booked the Roosevelt . We arrived by bus from JFK , which dropped us next to grand... More

After reading a mixed bag of reviews about this hotel, I was very doubious about what to expect. I travelled the middle of may for a week. On arrival, I was impressed with the lobby that I had heard a great deal about via trip advisor. It was pleasing on the eye, a nice area to have a sit if... More

The staff here have a very bad attitude, there is no such thing as customer service. The elderly couple ahead of me were treated rudely by the unlike lady monster in reception. I knew this was going to be interesting. I arrived at 1 am due to the storm in NY the flight was delayed I was not prepared to... More

This hotel was arranged for us as part of a visit to USA on the basis it was a fairly safe choice. Certainly, the location is excellent and the lobby looked grand as we entered. Unfortunately, apart from a fairly reasonable breakfast, we found almost nothing else to commend this hotel, particularly in the price bracket. Our room was small... More

What you see in the pictures is what you get. The room was ok, clean and the bed was comfy. The personal was amiable. Short distances to walk to the moma, st patrick, grand central station, rockefeller and times square.

We stayed six nights at this hotel (july 2-7, 2014). The hotel is on very good location. But we found several disappointments since the first night as we found out that the ac broken in the New York hot night. Nonetheless, the hotel changed the room for us when we notified them. The day after, we found out that the... More

If your in the market for a luxury hotel in NYC then this is not your place. Lobby is poorly located and awkwardly laid out. Very chaotic with large groups constantly taking up conversation areas with tons of luggage either waiting on their room or airport shuttle. ( don't plan on meeting anyone in lobby areas) Elevators are slow and... More
