We stayed overnight in July and booked ahead of time. I had stayed here several years ago and had a pleasant experience. This time we were very disappointed in our room - it was teeny tiny and the bathroom was in disrepair - the tub looked like it had a bad sunburn and was peeling all over - the room... More

This hotel is the best deal for my business travel so I stay here fairly often. It's okay for a clean room and hot shower when you're not going to spend a lot of time in your room. They don't really keep up with maintenance - on my last trip I had a hair dryer falling half off the wall,... More

I stayed here with my mum at the beginning of August. This hotel had been recommended by a friend and it looked great, so I thought I'd give it a try. The rooms themselves were very nice, and the beds were lovely and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us. For levels of comfort... More

Stopped here during a family holiday in July, all I can say is if you pass this hotel by you'll be sorry All the staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble, and the rooftop Mad 46 I think was the icing on the cake, great experience sat up there at night with your soul mate a drink... We had a very easy check in. Doris at the front desk was superb and very attentive to all of our needs. We were on the 9th floor and our accommodations were fantastic. We loved our room as we had a suite. The room was very clean and well maintained. My granddaughter loves taking baths and was able to take... More

Where do I begin? It seems that lots of others have had similar experiences. I booked this hotel due to the reputation, photos of the lobby etc. I expected a traditional hotel, by no means modern. For nearly nine hundred uk pounds for four nights,I at least expected cleanliness and professionalism from the staff. Upon arrival we were greeted by... More

The location is perfect for all business purposes in mid Manhattan. You have Grand Central a block away with Underground etc. Times Square is also close by. Don't forget to visit Bryant Park close by.

While this hotel is central to everything we were disappointed with the service. Some of the staff acted as if we were too much work. The internet while paying $50.00 a day for 2devices was absolutely shocking and the staff didn't want to know. It worked when it wanted to. So basically it was a waste of money. The room... More

We stayed at the roosevelt for 6 nights in august 2014. We loved it! The front desk staff was and is amazing and our housekeeping lady Fanny was fabulous! Our room was clean quiet and we loved the central location! We'll definitely stay here again!!

Oh dear, what a place. Prior to our American trip everyone in the UK who heard we were staying at the Roosevelt Hotel in NYC expressed surprise, and various words such as "posh" & "nice" were included in the subsequent conversation by them. Sadly in reality this hotel is faded grandeur & living upon a reputation from the early 20th... More
