I stayed in the hotel for one night in mid-July 2009. It was at a good price--$119/night but the junky, small room, loud surroundings, and poor service made it a very bad value. The room is small, but that didn't bother me. What did bother me was how worn and stained the room was. Aside from the new sheets and... more

Stayed here for 5 nights and although the room was quite small, we didn't spend much time in it anyway. The location is fantastic. One half block from Central Park west, and about 2 blocks from Subway line 1,2,3 which take you wherever you need to go. The hotel has a decent breakfast, although the coffee wasn't great. It's not... more

The good news: The wireless internet worked. The Wall Street Journal was available for free in the lobby (but was not delivered to the room). The location is convenient to Central Park. The bad news: The room is tiny. There is no dresser. The shelves are only 6 inches deep, and would not hold most of the things I tried... more

Having come from England to NYC for the first time, didnt know what to expect, but this hotel waz central to everything that we wanted to do, the rooms were a bit cozy but u dont wanna spend all day in there, just go to sleep. With Central park at the end of the road, what more do u want.... more

I just returned from 10 days in NYC, and this hotel was my little home away from home. The rooms are small but they have everything you need and the beds are incredibly comfortable. It was exactly what I needed after hours of walking around the city. It is less than a block away from Central Park and about two... more

If you go to NYC in leisure you will not have time to spend at the hotell, there are to much to se/do in the city. But this is a very good hotell for the price you pay. Every night we came back it was clean, the staff was helpful, comfortable beds, a quiet area by night and very close... more

This property maintains a great location (you can see Central Park from the entrance of the hotel). However, there was one elevator for at least a minimum of 10 stories and was no larger than an average-sized pantry. If you had one regular-sized piece of luggage, there would only be room for two additional people. When I got to the... more

I've debated staying here many times and finally did so. I found the many of the pluses and minuses described in other reviews to be accurate. My room was clean, but small. The biggest plus is the location, steps from Central park, in the vibrant Upper West Side and near two major subway lines. For vacationers looking for decent, low-cost... more

My boyfriend/biz partner and I stayed here while on a photo shoot in New York. The shoot was in Central Park, so we felt like we really lucked out finding the Comfort Inn. The price was amazing for being across the street from the park. The room was super-tiny to the point that we had to maneuver around each other... more

This hell hole should be bull dozed. What a horrible place to stay. It's dirty. It's beyond cramped. There is NO wifi. There is not one redeeming feature to this place. Hall closets are bigger than these rooms... even their top-of-the-line accomodations. It's incredibly noisy - be prepared to hear other guests sneeze or brush their teeth. The whole place... more
