This hotel have a great location and a good price considering all offers: Free Wi-Fi, Free Breakfast, close to two subway stations (72nd Street station for B-C and 1-2-3 trains), many restaurants and coffe shops (Starbucks, McDonalds, Subway etc) and central park. All of that in a walking distance with less than 500 meters. When we arrive in NY we... More

My wife and I spent a wonderful week in NYC back in October. We've been to NYC before from Australia but never had visited Central Park. So doing my homework this was the best value for foreign dollar without going broke and the idea of breakfast thrown in was enticing even though I'd read the reviews about breakfast but had... More

Needed to spend overnight in NYC's Upper West Side to attend a conference near Lincoln Center. Just needed a comfortable bed and shower within walking distance. Comfort Inn was located where I wanted and offered the basic accommodations I sought. I stayed in a room for 1 that came with a full-sized mattress, and both firm and soft pillows -... More

This place is sort of run-down (not well decorated, slow lift, threadbare curtains). But it was cheapish (relatively) and the location was alright. The staff were polite and I feel like they're managing ok considering what they've inherited. The dining room was very small so we had to wait, and the girl replenishing was working hard but could not do... More

While this hotel is pretty basic, you can't beat the location. You are half a block from Central Park and the Strawberry Fields. It's also very close to the subway and some great dining. The hotel rooms are small and the bathrooms are even smaller, but it's clean. There is a basic breakfast offered but there are also some great breakfast... More

Good points: really good location for eateries, transport, shopping. Quiet, with very good WiFi. Not so good points: tiny bathroom, room a bit draughty from ill fitting air con, which had plastic taped around it, lift small and very slow, insufficient seating in breakfast area, room in need of redecorating/repair.

This small hotel is in a great location for a show at the Beacon Theatre and sightseeing in the area. You won't want to spend anytime in the very small rooms but that shouldn't be why you come to NYC. I will stay her again, great value.

Good Points There was great wifi in the room. There was no problems with noise. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large with a good shower. Good location and subway just around the corner. Bad Points There was bad drafts in the room due to a badly fitted aircon unit that was sealed into the window with... More

You will find this hotel nestled within other neighborhood brownstones. It's an extremely narrow building which makes for an interesting room experience -- very compact. The hotel itself is slightly aged, but some of the typical Comfort Inn amenities were present ... free breakfast (yogurt, cereal, etc.), computer in the lobby (printer for a charge), and free wi-fi. There was... More
