Seriously great location, easy to get to subway and very near the park. Breakfast was average but satisfactory; although the breakfast area was small and we found it best to get there early to avoid the crowd. Rooms and the hotel itself are older, and the heat was a little sketchy. As with most city hotels, rooms were very small.... More

We choose a king size room and it was a great choice, because the room was bigger than others! We stayed for 5 days and there are few problems, like the elevator (just one) and the heater (not hot enough)... The breakfast was good, with fruits, omelets, bread, waffles, milk, coffee, etc and the staff was friendly, specially POLINNA !... More

We stayed in a king room on the 10th floor for 5 nights. We found the hotel staff friendly and helpful. The location was ideal! The hotel is a block from central park and there are tons of great little spots to eat or go for drinks nearby. It's also a block from a subway station which made getting around... More

There were some good things about this hotel: location and comfortable bed. Almost everything else was bad: The room was extremely small; the wi-fi was poor; the breakfast room food was not good; the breakfast room was too small to accommodate guests; the breakfast room was attended by only one staff member and she could not keep up with needs.... I reserved this hotel 8 months in advance to get a good rate. We reserved it based on location as it is very close to Central Park. We arrived early to the hotel and they were kind enough to store our luggage. The front desk was helpful. We got our room later that afternoon. We overlooked the fact that the... More

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights the first week in November. On arrival the lady behind the desk was very polite. The room was very small but we were not intending on spending a lot of time in there any way (we were in NYC after all) The room could have done with refurbishment the air con was... More

We stayed here for three nights while visiting NYC for a family wedding. The hotel was in a nice location close to Central Park, the Museum of Natural History, and subway stops. It is also in a residential area so there was very little street noise. The hotel itself leaves much to be desired. The elevator is slow and small... More

I've stayed in this hotel a few different times when visiting the city. With each stay, I am even less impressed than the time before. On my most recent visit, I stayed for 4 nights. For one, the rooms are extremely tiny. I know NYC hotel rooms are small, but these rooms are ridiculously small. I opened the door and... More

I booked this hotel as it was one of the view hotels in the city that was within my budget and had a private bathroom. The location was good, close to the subway and very close to Strawberry Fields and Central Park. The room was small but as I expected and I didn't spend much time there anyway. The lift... More

I read all the reviews, and it should have warned me, but it didn't. This place we just terrible. Beyond the REALLY small rooms, the toilet & sink are so close you have to sit sideways (unless you're a child) to use the toilet. The carpet was dirty and torn, paint chipping, wallpaper falling off. Hair, dust, you name it... More
