The staff was very kind and were really quick and efficient while checking everyone in. The Hotel is going through a renovation and with this new management team it seems as if it is headed in the right direction. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were nice and cozy. Robert and Khan were a delight they went out of there... More

Checked out today from the first and for sure not last trip to New York. Hotel room was very small but had just what we needed , comfy bed, shower , AC and hot breakfast. Breakfast was good with lots of choices and very nice and efficient breakfast attendant. We had to check out and pass some time between our... More

Me and my grandson stayed at this hotel for 4 day's. Upon arrival I was asked for my credit card to pay a $5 dollar charge for accidentally damage. Which I agreed. I did not think nothing more of it until I arrived home and checked my credit card statement they had took $780 off my card for the hotel... More

Very friendly staff. Great location. Just a half block from central park. Probably the smallest room I have ever stayed in. When I sat on the toilet my head was nearly in the sink. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and linens were very nice. The air conditioner worked well but it was right next to my head so... More

Comfort inn Central park West is perfectly located near Central park, that is about the only good thing I have to say about it.. The breakfast was awful. The staff was not very service minded. The rooms very crazy tiny. The housekeeping was interesting, lots of old bags / clothes under the bed, behind the TV etc, long black hair... More

Like other Comfort Inns we have stayed at, this one had a nice breakfast including waffle maker, bagels, yogurt, cereal, eggs, oatmeal, juice, milk and more. It also had free Internet in the rooms, which was nice (about 1Mbps, which was good enough for Netflix streaming, for example). I liked that it was so close to Central Park, the Metropolitan... The hotel was in an ideal location, right by central park, so very quiet. I slept with the windows open, and was not bothered by any noises at all. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, assisting with directions and wifi with complete patience. The subway station is super close, with easy access to most popular sites and easy transfers... More

I booked this hotel & the rate was almost $400 including taxes on a Wednesday night. While it's not the Four Seasons, I was expecting something half decent. The staff was friendly when I arrived, but that's about all that was good about it. I walked into my room (through dirty, paint-peeling hallways with debris on the carpets), and immediately... More

Nice location that was near an off-Broadway show we went to see in this neighborhood. It was a short and direct subway ride to get here from Penn Station. We easily walked to central park and the museums nearby. Lincoln Center was also a comfortable but slightly longer walk. Plenty of restaurants of varying price ranges to choose from on... More
