The hotel itself is good for both up and downtown exploring. It is accross the street from Macy,s. very busy area until very late at night. The rooms are adequate for a couple, however there is no closet and very little space to hang clothes. It will be cramped if you have lots of luggage. The bathoom feels cramped. The... More

I stayed here for 3 nights in September. The room is big for two people, however I couldn't get the ipod docking station to work and there is no kettle, only a coffee machine, not great for a tea drinker like me. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was really nice - very American! However, I... More

Stayed here for 5 nights as part of a 2 week US visit to celebrate my 65th birthday and our 42nd wedding anniversary, this was recognised by the hotel and we were upgraded to an Executive room at no extra cost.Throughout the time we were there we were treated with the utmost courtesy by all the staff. The hotel is in a... First of all the first look at the hotel lobby and surroundings, it is not quite the same you would expect if you are staying in Soho or Midtown. All the stores are peddling either costume jewellery or knock off purses. The staff was nice and they tried hard, but overall the place looks tired and depressed. The room was... More

Stayed at the Radisson Martinique for 3 nights in Sept 2012. Lovely hotel and the majority of the staff were friendly and helpful. The woman in the concierge/gift shop was fantastic. The only issues we had were that the reception staff were not overly forthcoming in helping us sort out a small issue with connecting to Wifi - to the... More

My family stayed here just prior to Thanksgiving 2011, and the location was terrific - close to a variety of places. The hotel itself was well-maintained, and the staff was nice. My only gripe was the tiny room. There were 2 kids and 2 adults, and I was hoping that we could share the 2 double beds without too much... More

Stayed at the Radisson Martinique for 3 nights in early September 2012. Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are quiet and decently sized for NY. Upon arrival the rooms were not ready (check-in is at 4pm) and were asked to wait till 6pm. They immediately offered us free drinks at the bar for the wait and free... More

I stayed here for one night on my own at the end of a two-week trip. I arrived very early in the morning before my room was going to be ready and was told that leaving my bags would be no prioblem - it wasn't. Cesar (the man who was there both days that I left luggage) was charming, helpful... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
