We came to NYC for New Years Eve in Times Square. Wanted a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance to Times Square and some amenities. Was immediately provided a room at 11:30 AM even though check-in wasn't until 4 PM. They provided us a corner room on the 26th floor nice views. The only room concern which should be rectified... From check-in to check-out, really good 5 night stay. Stayed here before a few year's ago. Staff friendly and helpful. Fantastic location for getting around. Rooms still a little tired (hotel says they've been refurbished) but well appointed. Really comfortable beds. Did have some problems with hot water to shower which is very unusual in NY hotels. Also, noisiest A/C... More

You are in walking distance of practically everything!!! We asked for a quiet room in the back which was given to us as requested, and it was quiet. Staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful including Sophia, Pedro and George. There was also a rude one but we decided to just ignore him!!!

Great location as you are within walking distance of everything that you need. We stayed for Christmas and was worried that no where would be open! Silly us! The deli next door is open 24hours and yes that was also the case on Christmas Day, where you can purchase hot meals, coffee, breakfast and sandwiches. I asked for a high... More

Our family of 3 stayed here for 7 nights the week of Thanksgiving. The location is nice and central, close enough to walk to Times Square but far enough away!. We were on the 22nd floor it was very quiet room. Check-in was quick. Staff were very friendly. Room was bigger than expected, after reading previous reviews we were pleasantly... More

Our family of 3 stayed here for 2 nights this past weekend. The hotel location is good, just 2 blocks from Bryant Park and central enough to get everywhere. The hotel was a bit chaotic upon check in and the desk staff weren't overly friendly during the check in and check out process. We had a Marriott rewards gift card... More

Went to New York for the first time for my sisters 30th birthday and decided to stay here. We flew with Delta/KLM and have to say was massively impressed with the airline. The seats were slightly larger then normal (although belts were quite small) the airline staff were attentive service was fast polite and all inclusive. Even spirits. Had some... More

I would stay here again, for the location. The hotel is small, but had everything we needed including access to nearby good food and Times Square, etc. Nice beds and clean bathrooms and everything worked.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
