My spouse and I joined our two grown children & their significant others for a long weekend in New York. We chose this hotel for its location and for the facility itself. The hotel made sure we were all on the same floor. The staff was always helpful. The rooms are good size for Manhattan and very clean. Beds were... More

I slept great here because between great windows and white noise AC or heat, you can actually sleep in Manhattan :). The people are friendly, helpful and efficient. Would gladly stay again. Nice espresso shop across the street, ask the doorman.

Arrived Christmas Day for my sons 18th. Excellent location ESB a few blocks down to the left and all the shops down to the right. Library as in movie Day after Tomorrow literally 5 paces at the end of the street backing onto Bryant park and just behind Times Square. Hotel has all you need nothing flash but location the... This is a great place. I've stayed there before and I am currently sitting in an airport getting ready to head that way and stay there again. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is within close proximity of EVERYTHING you need. The negative reviews on here are crazy. To the folks complaining about the size of the room,... More

Kev5377, Wow Kev, I am ecstatic to hear how much you love the hotel. You made some great points about the convenience of the hotel to such great eateries. When in NYC it is great to visit some of the top delis, restaurants, coffee shops etc… in the world - why eat in a dull hotel restaurant. Can’t wait to... More

I stayed in this hotel over 2 weekends during a business visit. I found the hotel comfortable and the rooms spacious and modern. The cost was roughly $150 per night which is extremely reasonable for a central spot in mid - town. Hotel is a couple of 'blocks' from Times Square, 42nd St, Empire State Building and Grand Central Terminal.... More

For example some rooms are smaller like 503, my room 1501 was larger and comes with a couch and enough space around the desk. Would say it is an OK hotel, good located with 100m from 5th Ave on 40th east. Lobby and rest is not a place to meet. You can go there if you stay for business.

Ben We are delighted to hear about your recent stay with us and really appreciate your feedback! Your comments on our room sizes and layout of our lobby are much appreciated. I've been staying in this hotel regularly, two to four times per year for the last four years. My most recent stay was miserable. I called to confirm an early check in since I had a dinner that evening. Despite being told rooms were available, when I arrived none was available. So no nap. I went to lunch, ran some... More

VirginianFamily124, I am sorry you did not have a good experience at our hotel. Due to our great location we are popular with leisure travelers as well as business travelers. On occasion we take in tour groups and have been for years. Unfortunately it sounds like your timing was such that your comings and goings were similar to theirs. Typically... More

Stayed here for 4 nights while on a tour. Excellent location - so close to Times Square. Great bathroom. Beds were a bit hard but comfortable. Deli that's open 24/7 right next door was excellent. There's no view but you're in New York City - you should only need your room to sleep, not sit in & look at the... More

Cut through Bryant park and you can be in Times Square in 10 minutes or less. The free coffee bar was great during the sub zero time we stayed. Loved not having to leave hotel to find decent coffee. Got delicious bagels in the morning at the deli RIGHT next door. The doorman was SUPERB helping us get a car/taxi.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
