The Marriott at 5th avenue is a perfectly located hotel close to everything. The rooms are indeed small but the bed is amazingly cozy and the bathroom while also small is clean and I never had an issue with hot water. There is not a lot of extra space to lay out your things and I was in a double... More

I spent 10 days at this hotel and it was a miserable time. The way my family and I were treated by the staff was unbelievable. The people that work at this hotel should not be working in anything customer service-related. Not only do they not look at you when you approach the front desk, they answered my questions as... I spent two nights in the Courtyard New York Manhattan Fifth Ave this past January, 2015. It was easy to get to, close enough for me to walk to everything I was in NYC to do on this business trip, and it was quite easy to find and get back to. Those were my criteria when I booked the room.... More

This next comment is not only a reflection of this hotel, but many others....my advice follows. If you desire a good night sleep in Manhattan be sure you ask for two things. 1. A room that does not face the street in any way shape or form. 2) A room on a higher floor, preferably 15 or above. If you... More

This was our third stay at this Courtyard. It's very close to Grand Central, a quick five minute walk, something we appreciated on a cold, rainy morning. We arrived in NYC around 10:30, walked over to the hotel, and were pleased, once again, to be able to check into our room at this early hour. Availability at that hour shows... More

To be fair, it was the week between Christmas and New Year's, so everything in NYC is over-priced. I called five days prior to our arrival to ask about roll-away beds, and was told the are on a first-come basis (and only available in certain rooms). Upon arrival, the clerk said this hotel does not even have roll-away beds. The... More

Stayed here for a quick girl's trip into the city right before the holidays. The location was fabulous. Very close to Grand Central, which makes it easy to get around most of Manhattan. My only complaint would be the smallness of the hotel overall (even by NY standards). The lobby is small, hallways are teeny, and the two double beds... More

We came to NYC for New Years Eve in Times Square. Wanted a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance to Times Square and some amenities. Was immediately provided a room at 11:30 AM even though check-in wasn't until 4 PM. They provided us a corner room on the 26th floor nice views. The only room concern which should be rectified... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
