I did a lot of research for a quality, yet affordable hotel in NYC before choosing Ramada East Side. It's only 2 blocks down and one over to the 28th ST station for the #6 train. Room was clean...internet connection was excellent. Friendly staff at the front desk and exceptionally friendly staff in the breakfast room. Note: There's no heat... More

Arrived on the 27th November, receptionist very pleasant , had a problem with key card but problem was sorted within minutes, house keeping very good could not fault it , all creature comforts within room . Fridge microwave, coffee station, whilst we were there the reception area was being refurbed , corridors and stairways and also lifts could do with... More

4 relatives booked one room for their weekend stay in NYC. They were pleased with their large room with 2 queen size beds. Location was near subway and buses to get around. However, Front desk needs to be more on the ball. When I came to meet them, I asked the front desk person to call their room. I gave... More

The hotel location is perfect. Rooms are small. Fruits offered in the breakfast weren't always fresh (specifically banana).

We stayed here for 2 nights in November and were quite pleased. The hotel was having work carried out to the foyer and reception but this was not a problem. Overall the hotel is quite "tired" and is in need of some refurbishnent to the public areas. The room was quite adequate and comfortable. The breakfast area was quite basic... More

We just returned from Thanksgiving in New York and had the pleasure of staying at this Ramada. We were a little nervous based on the previous reviews - but we could not beat the price - especially over Thanksgiving! Yes, the lobby is undergoing a minimal remodeling, which did not impact us in any way. We arrived early and were... More

We stayed at the Ramada for 4 nights in November, first off they have renovations going on in the hotel reception/ lobby which we were not informed of. However the rooms were a good size with bath/ shower on suite. Bed is comfortable and heating good seeing it was freezing when we were there. Hotel is in great location close... More

We booked this hotel because of the "Ramada" in the title. Arrived to find building works going on at entrance, and no apologies for the state of the place. Were then annoyed to find that is in fact, an Apple Core hotel, only licensed by Ramada - and does it show!! Rooms quite dated, lighting in rooms very dismal. We... More

Dear AnnieDeeb, Thank you for your review. We’re sorry our hotel did not live up to your standards. We are currently in the process of upgrading our lobby. We apologize for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, we cannot use reusable cutlery and plates because we do not have proper kitchen space to wash them. Our rooms vary in size somewhat, but most... More

I stayed here just for 3 nigths, but I liked it. The hotel offers breakfast (rare in Manhattan), and it is served from 6:30 am, this fact was good for me because I stayed here to participate the NY Marathon. The room was big and clean, with two queens size beds, microwave, a minirefrigerator and coffe machine. The location is... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
