We liked this hotel so much. It is in the center of the city. Near subway. Good rooms. Cleaning is so good. Air condition is so good. Bathroom is so good. But breakfast is poor. It should be richer. When we will come again we will prefer this hotel.

This is very good value...for New York. Good points are: Location near Empire State etc, clean and modern rooms, nice buffet style breakfast, competitive price (you could pay a little less and stay in some hotel/hostel with shared bathrooms...for a little more you get a Ramada hotel in a great location). Wifi was fast and never had any problems. Bad... More

Dear oscarrocks, Thank you for your review. We’re sorry you had a room that was a bit small. Our rooms vary in size somewhat, so some of them are a little smaller, but others may be a little larger than the average for Manhattan. We apologize for any inconvenience. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again soon.... More

As a mother on vacation with my two daughters, I was looking for a place to stay that would be safe, convenient and pleasant, as well as a good value. This hotel was perfect on all counts. We were able to leave our luggage in their storage room at the beginning of our stay, since we arrived in the morning,... More

I stayed here with two friends for four nights in early June 2015. It was our first trip to NYC, and we couldn't have chosen a better hotel. It's not brand new and it's not enormous, but it's well maintained and very close to so many attractions. The Chrysler Building, Empire State, Radio City, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Public Library,... More

The hotel is conveniently located, and the staff is nice. The room we had, 918 looked out the fire escape and was VERY small. The breakfast consisted of cereal, bananas and apples, waffles and pancakes, toast, bagel and cream cheese and yogurt. Coffee and tea of course. Willing to keep your luggage for several hours until you can check into... More

Dear a90505, Thank you for your review. We’re sorry that your room was too small. Our rooms vary in size somewhat, but most are about average for hotel rooms in Manhattan. Also, not all of our rooms have views due to surrounding buildings. This is also pretty common in Manhattan. We hope you will choose us again for any future... More

It was ok. The staff was very friendly but the room was very small. It wasn't really that close to anything so we did a lot of walking. But it was, for NYC, affordable in that the rooms were under $200 a night. The bathroom could have used a bit of refurbishing. The bed was super comfortable!! Flat screen tv... More

Stayed at this hotel a number of times in the past and come back because of its convenient location (20 - 30 minute walk from the Bus Terminal). It has a simple clean design, the downstairs area was recently renovated and there is a good spacious place for breakfast (used to be in the basement in the past with limited... More

I lived in NYC for 30 years, and when I found myself in need of a hotel room (the night I sold my apartment) I doubted I'd find anything affordable that was decent. I wasthrilled to find the Eastside Ramada. The staff is pleasant, the room was spotless, the mattress was comfortable, the breakfast and wifi are free. (And unlike... More

We booked two rooms. Our confirmation only showed one room. We called the hotel directly and they said we had one room reserved. We called central booking and they said we had two rooms but they could not send us a confirmation for each room or any indication in writing that we had two rooms. We asked them to contact... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
