We stayed here Feb 2015, checked in with no problems, staff member was pleasant. Room was fine, bed was comfortable and there was a safe in the room. There was also a coffee machine and hairdryer. The room was cleaned daily and new towels daily. We didn't have breakfast here preferring to go out each morning. Hotel was close to... More

Considering its new york, the price we paid for the room seems ok. The rooms are a decent size, The bathroom the smallest ever i've seen. But the hotel and rooms are clean, the staff is helpful and efficient. But i think thats what we will get in new york in this price range. There is free wifi too. The... More

We stayed here a part of a multi entire trip including Chicago. We stayed for three nights in October. Unfortunately we were no aware that as we were going, the hotel was under refurb so the reception area was a mess and the breakfast area looked more like a youth hostel than a hotel. The room was what we expected... More

There is not one thing myself or my partner can fault about this hotel. The location is perfect, only a plesant 20 minute walk from Times Square etc, but in a quieter part of Manhattan. Amenities all around, totally spoilt for choice for places to go. The rooms in this hotel are first class. Widescreen cable TV, free Wifi, free... More

This is not necessarily where I would have chosen to stay had I not been placed here as part of a package deal. However I think we were handed a real treat when we given this hotel stay by the company that put together our holiday. The area where the hotel is situated is only a short walk from the... More

I Stayed here in January 24th, The room was booked under Allen. It was a room for me and my friend. Can I just say firstly that the check in procedure was brilliant by the girl on the desk, didn't get her name unfortunately. Room was large and very clean, bathroom was also very clean and tidy and the towels... More

Stayed here for 5 nights (feb 15) and had no complaints. Great location, clean and comfortable. We were on the top floor and found it quieter than expected, you still heard some street noise but you are in NY where there is noise all the time! Bed very comfortable, better than many I have slept in in far more expensive... More

My partner and I started here for 6 nights at the end of January. Brilliant hotel in a great location. Just 5 minutes from the empire state building and about a 15-20 min walk from times square but you see some great sights on the walk round. Hotel staff very friend impartially one lady who I spoke to regularly but... More

Great little hotel in an almost perfect location for seeing the sights. The room was as good as some I've paid three times as much for in other cities. My main hotel considerations are a good bed, hot water in the shower and good heating or a/c depending on the season. They delivered all three plus a widescreen TV, free... More

positive experience. clean and affordable hotel in a quiet part of the city yet close to the subway so very easy to get around. There was supposed to be wifi in the room but it wasn't working and they were not able to find out why or fix the problem. Wifi worked fine in the lobby.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
