For the location I think the value was adequate, but I thought the hotel could have been a bit better for the money. It was a decent comfy place to sleep, but the room was noisier than I would have liked. The location was great and only a few minutes walk from Times Square and many other famous NY landmarks. Cool!

We stayed (my wife, sister, brother-in-law and I) in Ramada for 10 days in a room with 2 bedrooms. The location is great (close to a very nice italian restaurant ten steps away from the front desk) and the wifi did work properly. The only suggestion is to change the carpet in the floor.

Basic looking hotel from the outside and doesn't offer anymore than brochures state. Rooms clean and comfortable, bathroom and towels etc. good. Street noise levels in room is what you'd expect on NYC. Breakfast good and dining area clean. Staff very friendly here and worth their tips. Harry in reception very helpful, organised our minivan back to airport. Thanks again... More

Myself and my husband stayed at the Ramada Eastside for 4 nights in December. Rooms are adequate for 4 nights stay and much bigger than what we expected for New York. Rooms are cleaned and tidied everyday and breakfast is an added bonus! The breakfast room serves enough variety to suit everyone I am a picky eater and I found... More

Stayed at this hotel from the 8-15 January. Initially we found the hotel great. The day before we were leaving the guy on reception offered to arrange our transfer back to Newark airport. A car would cost us $120. We took his offer but wen we were dropped of at the airport the driver showed us the receipt which stated... More

Didnt look much from the oustide but for the price you pay, its 100% worth staying here. Breakfast was a good selection, staff were frendly, rooms were basic but clean, location was good (10-15min walk to Times Square). Would come here again when i return to NYC

Dear gale m, Thank you for your review. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you had a great time in New York City. There is quite a bit of walking in New York, even though we are close to a subway stop. We hope to welcome you again soon! Liz from Apple Core Hotels More

The hotel location is great which is near major NYC attractions. The rooms offer ample space and bath facilities. If you are picky with room decor you might not be satisfied as the room furnishings are somehow outdated. The staff are helpful and the modest open buffet breakfast is appreciated before starting a busy day.

I spent months looking for an appropriate place to stay and the Ramada was it. It's so close to all the action yet in a quiet spot on 30th and Lexington. If you know the subway system well, it's near the 33rd and 28th street entrances as well as Penn/Grand Central Station if you you need to go far or... More

Dear Khirstin, Thank you for your kind review. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay with us over Christmas. We’re sorry you felt the carpeting was dirty and the bathroom was too small. We do vacuum the carpets daily and clean them as well. The rooms and bathrooms vary in size somewhat, but most are about average for hotel rooms in... More

We stayed 4 nights during the holidays and we were pleased . The hotel is very well located near the subway and great places to eat, especially Indian food. The room had a great size for Manhattan standards and breakfast was good, thought a little chaotic.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
