Hotel is centrally located...block or so away from Empire State Building, walking distance to Penn Station, Times Square, Fifth Avenue, etc. The staff are friendly and knowledgable and the hotel rooms are considerably larger than your typical NYC hotel. Unfortunately, you aren't going to get simple perks like in room coffee maker, exhaust fan in bathroom, etc. As there was... More

Nice hotel but with some smaller problems like slow lifts, unstable bed and a TV that didn't work all the time. But overall it was a really pleasant stay and the location is really good. Nice with the extra refrigerator in the room.

A central Hotel with the best Staff you can imagine, but I will look for another Hotel next time in NY..... It is really not easy to say this because of the VERY friendly Staff. But the hotel needs more modern A/C. VERY noisy and you cannot regulate it individual. I had a quiet room, but was looking straight into... More

Lovely spacious room. Great location in midtown. Short walk to convenience store. Room had mini fridge and hair dryer. Sitting room had sofa bed and writing desk. Safe and ironing board in closet. Comfy bed and linens. 11th floor gave us minimal street noise. All staff encountered were extremely pleasant and helpful. We felt welcomed and well cared for. Never... More

We stopped here twice in a 2 week period on our Honeymoon. When we arrived both times our rooms weren't ready at 3pm and we had been travelling all day and just wanted to chill. BUT the rooms were very spacious and had very comfy beds. Building work around it does spoil the hotel as they start at 7am each... More

Great location. Large rooms. Nice people. Excellent experience. We stayed for five nights and enjoyed each one of them. Our Son have had his own little room with a sofa bed. We have a king size bed. The hospitality with friendly and personal.

You pay the Manhattan rates because of the location. Conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from Penn Station (32nd street is a 5 minute walk away and has great metro links). The hotel itself needs modernising and the lifts and A/C need to be upgraded. It's clean enough. Don't expect anything by way of views - you get the... More

Great location! Staff friendly, helpful especially the afternoon bellhop--stood in the middle of 5th Ave. during rush hour to hail a cab. Good coffee machine in lobby, super comfy beds, cold AC--awesome & refreshing! Room was quiet although no view. Bed skirts need to be replaced (room 1008); couldn't figure out how to shut off TV with remote control! Would... More

The hotel room is spacious, the staffs are very polite and I love the cappuccino machine downstair and the free computer usage. In addition, wifi is free. The only drawback is the hotel look a little older.

To be honest for 300US/night I expected more. First I booked king bed with sofa room - ended up with 2 doubles and sofa. View from the window was ridiculous - some scary back of the buildings, constructions, etc. Sofa was very dirty, had to cover it with a blanket. Was charged $60US PER NIGHT for third person. So that... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
