This was my second visit to The Marcel. Many of the rooms are very very small. However, if you are lucky enough to stay in a room on a corner or another larger room - they are GREAT! Don't believe the hype - even in Manhattan, there are understandably small rooms in nice, decent hotels and there are tiny, overpriced shoeboxes with poor sound insulation, terrible floorplans and shoddy service/decor - there may only be one of the latter...
