This was our first trip to NY and we loved it. The hotel was centrally located to many tourist spots. Front desk was very helpful and our room very spacious. We walked to alot of places, everyone was very nice. The subway is nearby and we took it several times to different parts of the city. Will return again !

This is on 3rd avenue and 53rd. We walked to the theatre district (about a mile and change) and walked to Central Park (about a mile to the south end.) Subway stop is one block away. We actually walked to Grand Central to catch the 7 train out to the US Open rather than do transfers from the subway line... More

The hotel is in a great location withing reasonable walking distance of a number of key tourist attractions. Also close to subway for longer distances. Great bedroom and en-suite. Odd thing is that there is no lounge or bar - rather a small seating area by the business centre. There is a bar but it was never open/not stocked. Overall... More

My title says it all. My wife and I stayed here a 3 days 2 nights, the weekend before her birthday trip, before heading out on a cruise departing Manhattan Terminal. They allowed us to check in early and upgraded our room to a corner suite (after mistakenly giving us a room that was still being serviced by the house... More

This hotel is not what I'd have picked for business, but it was vacation and it actually turned out much better than I had expected. We were on the 28th floor, and we had a nice view, we could see the East River, and even the moon.. if you've been in a central hotel in NYC, you don't get this... More

Stayed 4 nights in this Courtyard this last August. We were given a room in the 30th floor. It was noisy and we asked to switch. No problem. We were sent to the 18th floor. We slept as well as we were babies: the quietest room I've ever had in New York. This Courtyard has all you need. If you... More

1st trip to NY. Our Family of 4 with 2 teenagers just spent 4 nights at this Marriott it was fabulous. The reviews I read were bang on. Great location just over 15 min walk to Times square and same to Central Park. Felt safe walking back to Hotel after night shopping at Times square and attending a show. Subway... More

We stayed just one night because we came into the city for a family event. We have stayed in the city many times and never had such a large room. I was really surprised that it was bigger than the rooms we stayed in at the Residence Inn and the Waldorf. The room was clean and comfortable. I didn't think... More

Stayed here in August 2010 with my spouse for a few days in the city. As far as the room rate and the location, I thought the hotel was a nice bargain. Subway entrance right outside the front door took us to the Yankees Game, and we never walked more than a few blocks to find great food options. Only... More

It was a typical Courtyard room. We stayed on the 31st floor, room was quiet-yes some traffic noise but not enough to bother a light sleeper. The hotel was nice, clean and friendly. The area was great- close to nice restaurants, felt safe, walking to museums, easy subways--basically all I could ask for for my trip. Breakfast at $11. something... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
