This hotel is a real gem in a great area. The check in was very quick and we didn't even have a reservation. The room was absolutely spotless and very nicely appointed and quite large. The lounge upstairs is a wonderful space for sitting, reading, using the free wifi.Sadly because of the storm coming we decided to leave New York.... More

Hard to find 1 room in NYC to handle family of 5, but this one was great. Large room by NYC standards. 2 beds and pull-out sofa. 24 hour Duane Reade next door. Location is convenient to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

We are a family of 5 with older children but wanted to share one room. The room we were given was lovely and big with a nice city view. Very quiet, couldn't hear any other guests at all. Very cosy and warm and we loved the 12th floor area where we could have some time out if needed. Good location... More

I just completed a one night stay on business and was pleased with this hotel. My room was huge by NYC standards. I had a king bed with a pull out sofa and a spacious office area (desk, outlets, etc) . The room and bathroom were very clean with modern decor. The location was great on the East Side. Lots... My family and I stayed here over Christmas for six days. I'm a very frequent traveler, and this was literally the cleanest hotel I've stayed at in years. Marina and Lila (our housekeepers) were AMAZING. I can't say enough great things about them. They checked on us (by name) every day, bringing us anything we wanted. The room was spotless... More

My wife and I stay here when we need to overnight in Manhattan. The location is convenient. The hotel itself is a bit odd, probably reconfigured from an office building; small lobby, offices, rooms on upper floors, etc. However, the rooms are modern and attractive with nice decor and B&W pictures of NY landmarks. The restaurant now only serves breakfast,... More

Stayed for 6 nights in January 2015. We were two families of five traveling together and we had asked fot the rooms on the same floor as well as on high floor. Everything was according to our wishes and we had only one room between us. The room was very clean and was well maintained during our stay, the beds... More

We stayed here from New Year's Eve we had a room with 2 Queen beds, we also had a double sofa bed so plenty of room for 4 of us. The room was immaculate and if you ever needed anything housekeeping would run it up to you. The room was huge, and we were on 16th floor which was good... More

Booked early and got a great rate. Our family of 5 spent 6 nights in this great (underrated) hotel over Christmas. Very clean, spacious (compared to previous accommodation in NYC), and centrally located, Lexington and 53rd managed to take us wherever we wanted to go. The Duanne Reid pharmacy next door was an added bonus. For dinner highly recommend Angelo... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
