We booked two rooms at this hotel for two nights - my husband and I were traveling with my 19 year old cousin from Germany - her first visit to NYC and the US. I wanted to stay in a location central to the sites (my husband and I usually stay further uptown in a boutique hotel). This hotel was... more

We stayed at the Courtyard over the 4th of July weekend for $139 per night. It was terrific value...large, clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Our rooms on the 23rd floor overlooked 3rd Avenue and were pretty quiet. We had breakfast one morning in the restaurant which was just average and not worth a return visit. This hotel is a... more

we were lucky enough to have a corner room, 2219 & it was extremely spacious. Nice & quiet at night too as we were on 53rd street. Great location for all attractions, not too far to walk to 5th Ave & Times square etc & subway very close by. Lots of good places to eat close by, Outback & Houstons... more

My family and I were very pleased with this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and large (best sleep I've had in years.) The staff was friendly and helpful, even during the middle of the night when my daughter became sick. Only drawback would be the small lobby and luggage storage. We were accidentally given a piece of someone else's... more

I've stayed in quite a number of hotels in New York and this is, in my opinion, the best value out there. The hotel itself isn't going to knock your socks off. It's more practical than grand. While the building materials are high quality, the lobby is small and the common areas are nondescript. The rooms are the size and... more

We stayed at the Courtyard New York Manhattan Midtown East during our NYC holidays earlier this year in late April through to early May 09. The first impression of the hotel was not particularly memorable since it does not have those huge lobby foyers as the more expensive hotels. In fact the check-in area was really rather small and nondescript.... more

Stayed for 3 nights with my Dad and brother whilst we were in New York seeing boxing at madison square gardens! The hotel has a wicked location on 3rd avenue. Quite easy to find for taxi drivers too ( especially since most taxi drivers couldn't even locate central park - i kid you not!!!) The entrance is small but functional... more

We stayed for one night with our two children, ages 9 and 11. We had a very spacious room with 2 double beds and a sofa bed. We stayed on the 19th floor and enjoyed the views. We could hear the typical city noise during the night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We requested early check in with... more

Spotless, spacious and quiet rooms. Staff was responsive and professional. The location is ideal and within walking distance to MOMA, Times Square, Central Park, the theatre district and shopping. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. more

We had reserved two rooms and check in was easy and smooth. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Both rooms/bathrooms were very clean and spacious for NYC. Beds were very comfortable. Did not have any noise issues from inside or outside of the hotel. There are subway stations close to the hotel. Also, used the business center computers... more
