After an extreme busy day I had a good night's sleep. I've been to other hotels on Manhattan and was always woken due to the sound of police cars or fire trucks and normal cars. And the beds! Hey this is Marriott! The best beds and pillows in the business.

Marriott has a number of properties in the midtown / Times Square area. This one has a very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are average, but attention to detail is lacking. The first night, my shower head didn't work properly, the alarm clock docking station was broken, and the light switch near the bed only turned off the alarm... More

Stayed here back in September, and this hotel was a great experience. We took Amtrak up, and instead of hailing a cab, decided to walk. It was definitely not a bad walk, and it took us about 15 minutes to get to the hotel. From there, we were pleasantly surprised by how nice the location was, and how great the... More

We got this hotel on credit card points and were really pleased at the location and cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff. The room was a fairly decent size for New York, and the hotel is close to a major subway station. The entrance is off the main street and we asked for a quiet room and got one on... More

Stayed here for a full week. Can't say enough nice things about it. Quiet location and beds were very comfortable. Staff wonderful, Rooms large, bathrooms large, price reasonable. Everything worked. Close to Penn Station, close but not too close to Times Square, Close to Theatres.

Stayed here for 7 nights in March and what a brilliant location it was. Right around the corner from Broadway and Times Square, and in great location for subway to take you anywhere else. I emailed before hand and asked for a room with a view, also signed up to their free loyalty rewards scheme. My request was met and... More

We stayed there from 28th september to 4th october. 60-65$ (dollars, not miles) from the JFK. It takes you 30-40 minutes to get there from the airport. Great location, near Madison Square Garden, subways, Starbuck's, Times Square, restaurants...fair price. We booked a 14th-floor room for three men and a 11 (or 12th) floor room for two women. Quiet room, clean... More

It was a great little hotel. Little in that it does not have a sprawling lobby and long halls. It is compact but not in a bad way. I would, and most likely will stay there again. The rooms look newly renovated. Our room did not have a view but that was not a real concern for us, as we... More

This hotel has everything you need from great views from your room and very close to Times Square etc. It was a 1 minute walk to Times Square and most chain restaurants. The rooms are great and very clean. The staff were very helpful especially the reception staff and concierge. The only negative I had was that the food wasn't... More

We had a great stay at this hotel in January 2015. Fantastic location, excellent staff. Will definitely be back again. You can't beat this location. Your right in the heart of everything without the hustle.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
