We usually stay at the Marriott Marque when we stay in New York but the Courtyard was hundreds less. Unless you really need the health club at the Marque this is a nice, clean, well located alternative and the money we saved paid for the Broadway show.

We had booked another hotel in the Garment District near Times Square, but we took the advice of a friend and booked the Courtyard at the last minute. Everything was top-notch from the first moment until the last - we got there early after an early flight and the friendly staff allowed us an early check-in. The beds and bathrooms... More

Just spent the night at this Courtyard. I have not one complaint. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, location was amazing and most shocking was that the staff were friendly and amazing. All of them were. Every staff member we met was friendly and eager to help us. We are seasoned NYers and we knew our way around but they... More

Summary: Excellent location, not too expensive by the NYC strandards, nothing special about rooms and amenities, no cell phone signal and super slow internet. The good: excellent location, just blocks of Times Sq and walking distance to Penn Station and many other things. Not too expensive by the NYC standards (which still translated into $350/night). There was a s mall... More

Well situated to Times Square, and the subway, the location is good IF you want to be located in/around Times Square. The hotel is clean and the beds are typical, comfortable Marriott stock. We slept well, and heard no ambient noise from other rooms or the elevator. The staff was helpful and, as other reviewers noted, the hotel is reasonably... More

2 weeks in NY working the auto show. Staff were exceptional day and night. Totally enjoyed my experience. Yes, the hotel is busy and for good reason, be patient you won't be disappointed. I was on the 31st floor.

The hotel itself is well located about three blocks from times square. We had several cosmetic problems with the room; loose toilet seat, loose door handles. The room was very small with no where to hang wet towels meaning we had to change them every day. There are only three lifts which are always busy meaning walking 20 flights of... More

Only a few blocks from Times Square, this hotel is perfect! It usually is not nearly as expensive as the hotels in Times Square, but is very nice on the inside and has the same great location. They also have rooms at the end of the hall that you can request of you have a large group. The rooms connect... More

This hotel is absolutely well located. Metro stations are super close, time square is there; the Empire State, Rockefeller center, San Patrick Cathedral, and Central Park are super close; everything walking distance. The rooms are confortable, clean, and with nice view. The staff very friendly and its service excellent. Definitely a recommended place to stay!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
