Stayed here for five nights with two children. We chose this hotel for it's close situation to Times Square, Rockefeller Centre, Empire State Building and Macy's, all within walking distance. Good overall impression, breakfast is not worth the money, we tried the first morning, service was not interested in serving us, we had to ask to have drinks. toaster was... More

The hotel is very close to everything however still very quiet. Rooms are nice and the bed is really good :) Ask for a higher floor for a nicer view also beware that in the morning you might wait 15 min for the lift. Good place for good money

Very impressed with location. Hotel was clean and the personnel very nice. A gentleman at the front desk, named Roman, very nice man and very helpful. Thanks Roman! Hotel has free Starbucks coffee in the morning, but I think they only put one pot out, so if you're not downstairs by 9 am. forget getting any free coffee. My buddy... More

Stayed at this hotel in April 2015. I was traveling with a group of friends and we had three different rooms. The rooms were comfortable and clean. They were surprisingly spacious for NYC. We were on one of the upper levels and did not have any trouble with noise or sleeping. Location was the best thing about this hotel, we... More

We spent 5 nights here & the location was perfect for us as we wanted to see shows & the TKTS booth was a very short walk away. While it was close to Times Square we didn't have the street noise I had feared & slept like logs after our busy days. It has a fire station virtually next door... More

I booked us in to The Hilton Garden Inn, Times Square, because we wanted to be central to Manhattan. The location didn't disappoint. Right in the theatre district, one block over from the famous lights of Times Square, 10 mins from Central Park South, Hells Kitchen over the road and the subway on the corner. If you want to be... This is a decent hotel. Great location, clean. Nothing that makes you go "wow," but is a good place to sleep. Since we were in NYC to see a couple of shows and see the sights, the hotel met our needs. Staff was friendly, and the adjoining restaurant was very good with friendly staff as well.

This hotel was walking distance to everything. I got a corner king, and there was plenty of Space. Some slight wear on the room... bathroom door was peeling. On our day of departure, we hadn't checked out yet (check out is at 12)- we went for a walk and came back at 930 to the housekeeper discarding the stuff in... More

It takes quite a bit of motivation for me to write a review, so this is not a bad review written in haste. In fact, it's 2am and I've been lying in bed unable to sleep since 10pm. So it's taken me 4 hours to get to this point, and clearly now eating into my holiday as I won't be... More

Based on reading previous TA reveiws, (yes I trust all of you), my family and I stayed last week at this HGI. Our first time in NYC. Here's factual feedback, positives first: Have to agree with other reviews; great staff who are truly helpful and positive. Loved that. Ronald, and the front desk, and the bellstaff were especially cordial, hat's... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
