I chose this hotel because it was close to my customer. My coworker and I were going to eat dinner at the restaurant next door and I asked the concierge about the restaurant and he immediately offered to suggest another restaurant. I had asked him about an Italian restaurant nearby and he said it was very good and gave us... More

stayed here while attending an exhibition, and it was ideal as it was centrally located. anything you wanted could be found nearby, within walking distance. Our concierge actually walked us to the local Brazilian restaurant to have some drinks and apps. The staff was very attentive. The rooms are not the typical small hotel rooms you find in the city.... My daughter and I spent four nights here in May. For $1200+ we had a lovely view of a brick wall, almost no storage for our clothes and an outdated bathroom with barely enough shower pressure to rinse off soap. Front desk staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was adequate. Room service was a joke...only available from 5pm to... More

Speedy check in, smiling friendly staff were very helpful. We had a room with two queen beds which was large enough for three adults. Plenty of charging points for phones, kindle etc with free wi fi. Out of the door turn left and you are on Broadway and Times Square. Turn Right and a short fifteen minute stroll and you... More

This was the first time we stayed in this area in NYC. Was very happy with hotel, location was perfect! The rooms were nice and roomy, larger than previous NYC hotels we stayed in. Lots of restaurants within walking distance....hotel has an excellent restaurant too. Times Square & theaters were walking distance. Will stay here again for sure!

Alex and Stephanie truly offered exceptional customer service. I had had some difficulty with the reservation policy via telephone the weeks before my arrival. The reservation staff used by the Hilton was very helpful but modification of my reservation policy was extremely prohibitive and disappointing. BUT when I arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn - Stephanie and Alex and their... More

This hotel is located very close to the theater district making it perfect for folks taking in a show. The staff is very accommodating. The rooms are NYC-sized meaning the walls could start closing in on one after 4 or 5 days but for a long weekend or overnight they are fine. The in-house restaurant is good and very convenient... This was our second visit to this hotel. We love the location - right around the corner from Times Square. On this trip we arrived at the Port of NY via cruise ship. We decided to skip the very long taxi line up when we disembarked and walk to the hotel, which was only 4 blocks up and one block... More

We stayed in room 710 from a Thursday to a Sunday. The room was super nice and clean. It was very quiet even though it was on a busy street. I know that there are other reviews on here about the rooms being noisy, but maybe the rooms were on lower floors. I think the higher the floor, the lower... More

I am in NY a lot for business and appreciqte this hotels great location - edge of Tones Square/Theater District, close to great restaurants and bars on 9th Avenue, next to the wonderful Pigalle Restaurant (Belgian beer onntap) and across the street from Bikram Yoga! Key is to go when the orice is reasonable which, for me, is under $200/night.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
