Room is large for NYC. Good lighting, its of plugs. Windows actually open! Great location for theatre, easy walk to Times Square. Helpful concierge. Breakfast a bit steep at $21, opted for bagel place a few blocks away on 8th avenue.

The hilton was a very nice place to stay while visiting New York. It was my third visit to the city having stayed in a different hotel each time. This one was the best and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The rooms a pretty much the same size in all hotels. The room was clean and maids did... More

In the bustle of the Christmas holiday, my stay on a busy Saturday night in December was terrific. Each Hilton employee was helpful, cheerful, and ready to answer questions they've most likely been asked many times before. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean while the property was in a strategic location for exploring the heart of NYC.

Two queen beds are rare in NYC not to mention a room large enough to hold them! We were able to check in early, experienced no problems with the bellman holding our luggage after check out and were pleased with the ambiance in the lobby. The subway runs beneath the hotel so grab a higher floor if the noise will... More

Came to New York for business in October and to save the client money we used a last minute hotel booking app. Got the Hilton Garden Inn at a tremendous price. Place was super new, super clean and staff were super friendly. We were disappointed we couldn't stay the rest of our trip with them as the price jumped up... More

My sister & I stayed here the weekend of November 14, 2014. The hotel is small, but adequate. The location is great!! Walking distance to Times Square & Rockefeller Center. Charles at the hotel was super. He was soooo... helpful. I would definitely stay here again. A short-out to Charles.

Stayed with my daughter Dec 5-7. Not sure what all the fuss is about regarding this hotel. Pros: It is decently located for theatre-going and room size relatively large for NYC. Cons: extremely crowded, noisy hotel. The room itself was showing some signs of age. Service staff were also average, with exception of bellman, who did a good job with... More

Really happy with the location. We could walk just about anywhere we wanted to be in the Times Square/ Central Park South area. Just not super impressed with the lobby/ decor. The rooms were quite clean and we were so happy with the coffee in the lobby in the early morning! A nice touch, not expected in the heart of... More

This is the second year that I have booked rooms here for a family weekend near Christmas. The location is so convenient! Subway stop is 1 block and Rockefeller Center is 3 blocks away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great restaurants within walking distance and many of the theaters are close by. I will stay here again next... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
