Short walk to Times Square and Rock Center! Close to so much but far enough away from the hustle to be relaxing. We stayed on the 4th floor facing 8th Ave. We had some traffic noise but not enough to keep me awake since the bed was soooo comfy! Everyone was kind, friendly and helpful. The room was neat and... This hotel is in a great location. You are in the theatre district, a few blocks from Times Square and close to subway stations. It is a little quieter than Times square which was nice. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was a bit small but functional. The staff were helpful and friendly. They fixed a problem... More

I finally had the opportunity travel with my kids (son 16 and daughter 13), husband and father to the big apple. I had not been to the city since the early 90's and that was only for a day. I had recently read an article that New York was the most unfriendly city, I was concerned... being from NC where... More

Okay first, we all know rooms in NYC are small, but there was plenty of room for the fold out couch bed in this room with a King bed so my wife, 13 y/o daughter and I did great. Clean, with good housekeeping, an excellent staff that was very attentive. Hotels in NYC are not about the room though, they... More

We stayed here for one night and we arrived around 11 a.m. we were able to leave our luggage with them and because we drove they parked our vehicle for us. So convenient. The rooms were spacious, very clean, very comfortable. Fairly close to everything. Excellent customer service from EVERYONE from the moment you walk in to the moment you... More

The hotel is in a great location for most of the major sites and just a couple of blocks from times square. Rooms are a good size with larger than average (for NYC) bathrooms. Good value for what we paid £584.37 for 5 nights without breakfast but wouldn't pay premium prices for this hotel. We were visiting for my 50th... More

I reviewed this property several years ago. Since then, I have had the occasion to stay a few more times and have recommended it to many others who have had similar experiences to mine. An outstanding location at a reasonable price with attentive staff and an excellent attached restaurant - The Pigalle. Three couples were on this trip and we... More

Perfect location for a weathered New Yorker or a 'newbie'. Within walking distance to many sites (Times Square, Rockefeller Center), theaters, and restaurants. Good service and very friendly and helpful employees. We were traveling with a group, but would stay here again in a minute, when traveling on our own.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel, great location for us, friendly and responsive staff. Two subway stops within two blocks of the hotel along with nearly countless eating options. Couldn't have been better.

We stayed for 4 nights in the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square in June 2015. We had a room with two queen beds, but this was the smallest 2 QB room I think I've ever had. I know NYC hotels are small and expensive, but for almost $400 a night I would hope the fixtures, carpet, and wallpaper were in... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
