Had a nice room with a great view on 15th floor. Located a block from Time Square, Theaters, restaurants and shopping. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Charles and Donald at the Bellman/Concierge desk and Noel, Maria and Stephanie on the Front Desk. The maids and restaurant staff were also very polite and helpful. A tad noisy... More

This was a very last minute decision to visit NYC. We had less than 24 hours to stay in the city, and needed a place for one night. We were looking for a place close to Times Square. This was just a couple blocks away in the theater district. The hotel was very reasonably priced considering we called that morning.... More

Generally very good. Phone operator Noel was arrogant and rude. Complained to manager and received immediate apology. Bell Man Dominic was efficient friendly and helpful. Great air conditioning. Cheap paper cups only in room. .

I stayed here on a business trip recently, and although the location was great, I found the room and service average at best. The room was clean and a decent size, however I found the amenities to be basic. There was no minibar, however the room did have a fridge, but it wasn't turned on, therefore useless. I tried calling... More

I asked for a quiet room, they placed me next to the fire hall where fire engines go in and out (more often then you think). If you're dead set on this place... get the highest floor possible. We stayed on the 9th floor and it was very loud at night (after midnight). I understand there will be some noise... More

This hotel is on the backside of Times Square, so at night it's not noise and don't get bothered by the lights. However it's a 3 min walk around the corner to Times Square and minutes to subway stations. There is so much shopping, dinning and entertainment minutes from the hotel includes multiple theaters with Broadway shows.

We used our Hilton points for a three-night NYC visit. Drove our car ("discounted" 24-hr. parking $42/day), planned visit for walking (theater, restaurants), bus (museums, friends), and a rare taxi, eating nearby (after studying reviews), and enjoying the vibrancy of the streets. The hotel is in an excellent spot for all that we wanted even if the rooms are tight... More

So central to everything and subway. Room spacious, two double beds and large screen tv. Our bug-bear was the adjoining door to the next room which permitted us to hear every conversation from next door, not good at 3am! Hotel fine for tourist holiday.

Great Location - convenient to everything. Restaurant located adjacent to hotel is terrible and severely overpriced even for NY. Bell hops were busy chatting with each other and were not very helpful - one was actually toooooo friendly: unsolicited hug and peck on cheek

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
