Very nice hotel in a great location. Priced very reasonably. Heat had been turned off and nights were a little chilly. Window air conditioning units blew across bed. TV a little small for viewing distance.

I admit, I can't deal w/ a rock hard bed. So my first criticism only applies to those w/ the same aversion. The bed literally had a piece of wood instead of a boxspring, and felt like it. The room smelled a bit funky and the building is old, so that's not too unexpected. The worst part was the noise... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and were very pleased with the accommodations. Excellent hotel and location. The best and most friendly desk and door staff. I asked for a small refrigerator and it was delivered after 10 minutes. The room was a bit small, bed was comfy and the room was very quiet. Short distance to the... More

The hotel should offer coffee and tea in the lobby. I had to go out to get a simple cup of coffee and a cup of tea to bring back to our room. That is terribly inconvenient and, in adverse weather, that very well might be unacceptable.

Although this was one of the smallest hotel rooms we ever stayed in, the location and other amenities made up for the size of the room. We generally spend time doing things in New York, not in the room so the great location was a plus.

The hotel is located to all the places of interest all within walking distance. The room I was in was clean, a bit small but who stays in the room all day and for the price you can't argue. The staff were great. Very friendly and local knowledge was very helpful and made "Places to see" a lot easier.I would certainly... More

Booked a single economy room for one night. I was upgraded to a much bigger double twin room in a higher floor, corner so I had a great view with no obstruction and it was very quiet. The bathroom looks luxurious, the room was very clean with a mixture of traditional and modern furniture, lot of TV channels. The location... More

If you are looking for a hotel that is in the theater district, close to central park and time square-it is. It's clean, no frills, the staff is nice. If your in the city you are here to explore it and have a place to crash after, that's what you get. Be aware NO Coffee in house.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
