The bed in this room was only a firm top mattress on a wooden platform, no boxspring. This made the bed extremely uncomfortable to sleep on, or even sit on. Since the room was booked primarily as a place to sleep between walking trips around the city, the bad night's sleep the bed provided took a toll on my resilience.... more

Keep in mind this was my first stay in a NYC hotel. Great location near theaters and time square. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean but very small (which may be the norm in NYC).
