In short: Cosy, no-frils, friendly atmosphere and staff, very good and comfortable room, great location! Pros: Location: The hotel is VERY WELL located at east 44th street, a few meters from the Grand Central Station. From the Grand Central you can visit any place in NYC by subway. Very good way to get a good feeling of New Yorkers way... More

We stayed in late June in this small and conveniently located hotel. Outdoor eating and bar area was great in the summer heat but service can be a bit slow. We brought our kids with us and all stayed in a very good size room with two good sized double beds. Although the hotel is renovated it does still seem... More

I stayed at this hotel with a friend, most hotels are very expensive but this was still quite reasonable and the main attraction had to be the location. You are very close to all the major tourist/shopping/eating sites and Times Square by walk is about 25mins. The hotel staff were very friendly. The rooms were very clean and spacious however... We came here for my 50th birthday and was surprised with chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champaign. Wonderful location and so close to Grand Central that you could catch any subway to get where you needed to be. Only down fall was you had to pay for internet service, which seems to be the norm in NYC, only... More

My daughter and I stayed for nine nights at this excellently located hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were to a really good standard - nice size and with a spacious bathroom; comfortable beds. The hotel was busy during our stay but there was little in the way of noise reaching the bedrooms. We spent the last... More

We have stayed here several times and are always happy. The location is very central and convenient to all the sights. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful, a special mention for Greg who was a fountain of knowledge and helped with so many things. Standard rooms are on the small side, but the beds are really comfortable. Breakfast is huge... More

When we arrived a lovely young man came out to welcome us with a brolly as it was very wet. we then booked in with a lovely... More

Had a great stay at this hotel! Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was spotless and the location by Grand Central couldn't have been better! The room was tiny, but that was not surprising in NY. The staff was more than eager to help out with anything asked, whether it was to hail a cab or give dining recommendations. Would... More

Excellent location near to Grand Central station. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We stayed for two nights and would willingly stay here again. Great patio area in Wheeltappers Bar.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
