5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We booked this hotel in New York to celebrate my sister-in-laws 50th birthday, we wanted it to be a fun, exciting, memorable time. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, nothing was to much trouble for the staff, they where friendly, helpful, informative. To name just a few, Garfield, Michael, Greg the 3 concierge, pointed us in the right... More

Stayed at this hotel from19th March until 26th March. On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist who informed us that heavy snow was expected the next day and an umbrella had been left in the room for our use. A nice gesture, she also stated that we had a spacious room. Room was to the back of... More

Fitzpatrick's was booked on our behalf by Cunard after we sailed from Southampton to New York, we stayed there 5 nights, I would describe it as a boutique hotel, and everything about it is sheer quality, our suite was elegant, very comfortable, with all the expected amenities, plus a luxurious bathroom and very comfy bed. The staff were efficient, and helpful, nothing... More

Wonderful boutique hotel close to Grand Central station. Recently upgraded, beautiful marble bathroom. Nice little in hotel pub, enchanted outdoor lounge area where we had cocktails, and a couple of meals. The staff is AMAZING. We were so impressed with this hotel that we paid for our son and new daughter in law for their honeymoon for a week as... More

We stayed for 2 nights in December just before new years and it was PERFECT! Great location, attentive friendly staff with great accents, comfortable and very clean! The pub attached was authentic and cozy! Superb location! Really made our stay a total pleasure!

Had great time in fitzpatrick grand cenral. Its location is perfect for sightseeing & shopping. We walked everywhere. Had a lovely room overlooking the street, great for gazing out of the window. We had champagne and strawberries sent up to the room, which was a lovely surprise. The parade on st patricks day was great, we sat on the steps... More

I had high hopes for this hotel but I was very disappointed. As the trip was for a special birthday I was looking for something special. We were unlucky with the staff when we booked in. Luckily by the end of the stay the staff that were on duty were much more helpful and friendly. Michael the concierge was excellent... More

A convenient (less than a block from Grand Central) quiet hotel in Manhattan. Personable staff, great pub with great food. During pleasant weather, enjoy drinking and dinner outside in a private garden.

Stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. Decent location just off Lexington - just by Grand Central, 15 minutes from Bryant Park, 20 from Times Square etc. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice, not massive but this is central New York. No view at all though which is a bit of a shame but... More

Fitzpatricks hotel is top class with top class staff and service. The staff are a joy to be around and have nothing but your comfort and best interests at heart. The rooms are super and cosy with a very homely but luxurious feel to them. The Wheeltapper bar serves excellent food that is reasonably priced and top quality. The bar... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
