We just got home from our second stay there and were once again very pleased. Very good location without being in the midst of the tourist traps. Clean rooms and quite spacious (by New York standards anyway). Lots of places nearby to eat and within walking distance of many things to do.

Staff is friendly and attentive from moment of arrival. Rooms are clean and newly remodeled. Nice Irish pub in lobby, which also serves breakfast. Due to unusually mild weather, we were able to enjoy cocktails in outdoor courtyard--very enjoyable. Convenient location. Wonderful little hotel.

Stayed here from 30/04/2012 - 07/05/2012. Most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, no bed bugs here. The room was a good size. We stayed here for 7 nights in April 2012. Overall our stay was very good. We only ate once in the hotel as that experience was not that good. However our room was entirely acceptable-clean and comfortable. There was people noise from the outside bar, to the rear, until after midnight,but this could be reduced by keeping the windows shut.... More

stayed at Fitzpatricks for 5 nights, great location, very clean, most helpfull staff and close to restaurants, bars and shops. Across the road from Grand Central Station, which is very interesting in itself.
