We booked this hotel as part of a holiday package, which took in a fly drive in the Southern States with a two night stay in NY. We where certainly not disappointed with this hotel. Location is spot on, near Grand Central, Times Square plus many other great spots to visit. The hotel was clean, well presented, staff where fantastic.... More

Our second visit to NYC 2010 July we stayed in the Fitzpatrick in Manhattan the first time so we thought we would try out this hotel. Great location and nice hotel only problem we had was our room was situated right next to the lift and the noise of the lift kept us awake constantly apart from that the hotel... More

This was a last minute trip during the Christmas season. There were not a lot of options left for a reasonable rate in a good location. We lucked out with the Fitzpatrick Grand Central. Not only was it reasonably priced, but it was in a great location. The front desk staff was very friendly. The room was small, but provided... More

The great little hotel on a quiet stretch of 44th St is a perfect location for mid-town adventures. Close to Grand Central Station and the Chrysler Building the rooms are clean, smartly decorated and the beds are very comfortable.

We stayed in Fitzpatrick Grand Central for five nights on our honeymoon and loved it. The location was great, just a short walk to Grand Central station (and Pershing Square!). The staff were brilliant from the minute we arrived. It is a lovely little boutique hotel and the guys & girls at reception were so friendly and helpful. We were... More

Good comfortable hotel 2 mins walk from Grand Central Station! 10 mins to Time Square, & close to 5th Ave & shops. Central Park, Empire State Building,Rockerfeller Centre & Maceys all within walking distance. Restaurant in the hotel is good bu a bit pricey & there is a coffee shop next door which is great for breakfast. A good base... More

Location very close to Grand Central. Friendly place with engaging staff and less corporate than most of the hotels in this area. The Irish bar/restaurant has a good atmosphere and does great breakfast. Room are clean and fresh if not the biggest.

Brian on reception & Mike the concierge were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were welcoming & helped to make the holiday memorable. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a junior suite. What a treat with champagne and chocolate strawberries. Massive comfortable bed, bottled water and chocolates. During the day you could hear the music... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
