After looking forward to a nice 1 bedroom suite in Manhatten we were sadly disappointed. The room was old and tired, viewed 4 brick walls. Felt like a prison view! Nothing like the photos that represent the Hotel. We asked for a room with a view and were told none were available. After complaining about a service person that just... More

One of the best place to stay in Manhattan. Only a couple of city block from central park, across from Carnegie Hall, and a 20 minute walk to Time Square and Broadway. The room are either a 1 bdrm suite or an efficiency - either way they are very comfortable. Guest lounge on the top floor with free wi-fi, a... More

Took a redeye into NYC for New Year's Eve and hoped to check in early. However, after registering with the desk, I was told to check back in "later." When asked when "later" would be, I was told around 4 PM. Around 3:30 PM, I called the front desk to see if the room was available yet and the front... More

Thank you for your candid feedback. We can understand how stressful late-night travel can be. Please know that our standard check in time is 4pm and while our team will do all they can do accommodate early arrivals, unfortunately we can’t make any early check in guarantees. You should always be treated to excellent service on every level so your... More

We wouldn't recommend this hotel for various reasons. First of all, when we arrived they didn't accept a regular credit card saying to us that The day after we had to solve The problem in order for us to stay in The hotel. The day after, a senior manager apologized for The inconvenience; our credit card was fine. Because of The... More

My teen DD and I stayed for a week for her first trip to NYC. Perfect place to stay in terms of location. We were able to walk just about everywhere - theatres/Times Square, dining, shopping, Rockefeller Center, Serendipity. One block to a subway - which we used to get to the Museum of Natural History. Used cab only for... More

The suite was spacious by New York hotel standards. The beds were comfortable. No street noise heard on the second floor. The staff was courteous. The furniture was a little dated. We did have to wait for the elevator.

We stayed here for 3 weeks with a family of young children. The best part was the quality of our room. We had a suite that was separated by a wall and opening. No door. Our nanny slept on the pull out sofa and I and the kids in the kid bed. We had 3 TV's! One in each room,... More

The web site does not do it justice. No, there is no restaurant or spa, but walk out the door and you are in the middle of everything. Weak on all fronts. Beware its also a timeshare and their policies are very different than regular hotels. I accidentally broke a lamp that looked like it was from 1976 and they are charging me 175$ to replace it. I called Sabina to try and negotiate a more reasonable fee but they wouldnt budge. The shower heads were horrific, squealing... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
