One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Room very noisy can hear every word people next door are saying. Front desk reception should not be in the hospitality business. Extraordinarily unhelpful - have never come across anyone around the world as unhelpful as this front desk manager.

Stayed three nights in August 2015 in a one bedroom. Were given a corner unit on the 12th floor. Great views of Carnegie Hall and a peek of Central Park. Did not hear any noise from the hallway. Some road noise but I don't think you can get away from it in NYC. The unit was in need of an... More

I stayed with a group of friends for a girl's weekend. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us. The two bathrooms were nice. The beds were very comfortable. Nice gym and business center. Great location in midtown. Helpful staff and clean rooms. The lobby smells so clean and refreshing when you walk in. It is a great... More

This was a great find. We had a suite versus a normal New York box... and it was located a few blocks from Central Park, Times Square and the shopping districts. We were surprised how reasonable to cab to most of New York from here. Plus we walked many places from here. Hotel staff were pleasant.... especially Paul the bellman.... More

We didn't really enjoyed everything that it might provide, but everything needed and expected was perfect. The localization is great too. The accomodations have all we need to stay as long as deemed necessary.

First time in New York and really enjoyed staying here for 5 days. Sons (aged 23 and 26 years) had the next room and we all had plenty of space and peace and quiet after being out and about all day. So close to all attractions and we felt safe in the area. Hope to return.

After about 8 years we visited one of the greatest city in the world. Vibrant and friendly City. Booked The Manhattan Club 56th Street. To start with we were told that there was a $30 per day charge. Upon challenging the amount as we had a paid certificate for the stay we were told that it was a mistake. We... More

We stayed with The Manhattan Club for 4 nights at the end of July. The staff when we reserved was very helpful and when there was a issue with the suite we chose not having room for a roll-away (which we requested on the RSVP call), Daniel, the manager, went over and above to make sure our NYC experience was... We stayed in a studio which was very large for NYC. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The housekeeping was efficient and tiddy up the room everyday. The location is central to everywhere and the subways are only a few minutes away. We made good use of the gym which was kept in good condition. Will definitely... More

This place is amazing. That is that it is amazing that anyone could give it four stars. We arrived around 10pm to find an empty front desk. We patiently waited for a while and then after shouting for help, we did seem to wake someone up. The lobby did seem rather shabby, but we were hopeful the rooms would be... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
